Solo Mode, to me, is a tale of two modes.
On the one hand, it teaches you a lot about game mechanics and shows you some interesting flavor lore based on certain archetypes, though the pathways in each of them are all rather generic.
But then you get to freaking World Legacy. Back in the day, the story of Gagagigo might as well have been the game's Epic of Gilgamesh; the story of a monster who went from an innocent creature to a heartless monster in a tragic fall from grace. World Legacy decided to be the end all, be all in overarching stories, though the legend of Dogmatika is working hard on overtaking it now that Konami has realized they can do bloated, several year-long story arcs in their game.
What's worse is, I feel like World Legacy is the "true" or "hard" mode of Solo Mode, given how the AI suddenly starts to think, even for minutes at a time, and decks become obnoxious. I got tired and the game became not fun.

I don't mind it, running with a Aromage deck which is doing alright for me. Granted it's low ladder matches

I just started Master Duel. I've never been great at making my own decks but I'm having fun so far. I do have one question through, I can make a Ojama deck right? You absolutely can. Ojama King and Ojamatch are UR but the rest are SR and below so it should be really simple to make. Oh, and get all three of the bundle packs. You’ll get three of the best cards in the game that you keep forever and 30 Master Packs to either add to your deck or milk for Ojama points. Upon reading this I thought I screwed myself by spending all my in game money on Blue Eye's related cards. Turns out I still had enough for two of the bundles, and was just 30 or so off the other. Jumped into a rank duel not really wanting to do that yet, expecting to lose. Got thrown into a duel with someone who used three Eldlich The Golden Lord's against me and well I was able to bring out two Blue Eyes in my first turn. Managed to keep them alive by various means, until I just decided to bring in my Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon, while also bringing back one of my Blue Eyes just to finish them off.

You will never get anywhere in ranked with it lol but yes you can make one. I did alright in the bit of duel links I played with them. Okay, it was mostly due to Chaz's power to start with Ojama Country. But I did okay. I never expected to win with them, just annoy

Think one of the cooler things about the game is how much it gives you from the off, you can pick three decks and build around those, then get gems to either build a whole other deck or spend them on improving the one you have. It’s really neat. Especially considering you can shake up the Blue-Eyes core to something half way competitive with the right stuff, with some of it being recent stuff.

I mean from just doing the tutorial and picking the dragon deck, I have managed to get a third Blue Eyes, three White Stone Of Legend, Maiden With Eyes Of Blue, Protector With Eyes Of Blue, Sage With Eyes Of Blue, Master With Eyes Of Blue, The White Stone Of Ancients, Blue-Eyes Twin Buster Dragon and Blue Eye's Ultimate Dragon. 2 of Neo Blue Eye's Ultimate Dragon, Dragon Of White and Blue Eyes Alternative Dragon and 1 Deep Eyes White Dragon. Which I know are pretty good for a Blue Eyes deck (I have other Blue Eye's cards but I don't know enough to know what is good or not)

Is there a video that can help us out with our deck building? I haven't really gotten down to trying to build a deck from "scratch" so I'm looking into it. After doing Solo some I think I'm gravitating towards Gem Knights and Gladiator Beasts. Those were the most fun for me.

Duel logs is really good they got catergories pretty much about every single card even going into what is the best and worst cards of the archetype and how they work together with the archetype and the engines from other decks etc

Today I learned that the token summoned by Nibiru goes on the opponent's side of the field, not yours!
Also, do not Nibiru a Cyber Dragon deck.

My brain is too small to play modern Yugi-Oh! I once made a pretty cool frog deck, that or my deck that used all cards that looked like guns and what not for the luls (And blockman for some reason) were probably my crowning achievements in personal Yugi-oh deck building. Hahaha. Fun times!

I f**** hate Pendulums and Links and refuse to use them Links aren’t too bad but definitely to hell with Pendulums. Though playing against other people and they choose to make you play first if they win the coin toss and their Extra Deck is 10+, I’ve come to prepare for their first turn to just be 5 minutes of them Link Summoning. Once they get to the Accesscode Talker part of this chain I just surrender.

The irony of Pendulum is that I’ve seen more Pendulum decks in the last week of Master Duel than I have the last 5 years I was back in YGO.

I don't even know what's going on in modern Yu Gi Oh.
I played YGOPRO a while back and everything I saw online was just people bringing like half their deck out in one turn and suddenly having a Blue Eyes with 5000 attack
Like, Synchros were cool but what is all of this crap?
