AJ and Finn came out of LOSING to Brock looking better than Lashley did in (technically) winning.

I get the vibe Brock doesn't want to do matches that aren't one of the following: -Brock's the dominant guy and the other is a major underdog that wins/loses after putting up a good/terrible fight -Brock's outclassed and loses almost immediately

Didn’t see the match but been a Lashley fan for many years. Disappointed that the WWE had a dream match and didn’t even realize it enough to book it properly. These two facing each other should have been a huge deal and presented as both men being equal.

We did get to see Bobby learn how to take German suplexes in real time...

"Ugh this is destroying my neck...how about this...GOD DAMN MY SHOULDERS...okay I think I got the hang of this now...f*** MY ELBOW!" Yeah he was landing ROUGH on those Germans. One of them in particular he bumped right onto his shoulder, I don't know how he wasn't injured. I thought for match that was 15 years in the making or whatever, it was pretty damn underwhelming. It's always good when a fulltime roster member manages to get a win over Brock because it feels so rare but it wasn't a very impressive win.

You think Brock asked him if he knew how to take Germans and Bobby was too embarrassed to say no?

I quite enjoyed it. Wanted brock to win but really liked Roman reigns and Heyman heeling it up
I actually really enjoying this heyman- reigns - lesnar triangle storyline and I hope the rumble win hasn't messed it up. I'm hype for this story. Much better than the crap with face Roman in 2018.
Maybe add Seth to the mania match too

Why are y'all still blaming Lesnar for the way his matches are laid out? Whenever he's against someone with any sort of real backstage pull, he digs deeper. The issue is that he just wants to do what he's told to do (who can blame him) and Vince et. al don't understand how different moves are a better visual than German Suplex x584

Lashley winning felt like a consolation prize. Lesnar vs. Roman is the only feud that matters but we don’t want a unification match soo here you go. Congrats I guess. Makes everyone else look like shit.

It should have been an awesome 10 minute sprint of two big guys beating the shit out of each other, instead it was super underwhelming even outside of the shit finish.

It was fine but Lesnar needs to chill with that German Suplex spamming. It's taking the flow out of the match and draining the crowd. It's pure laziness on his part. Like pretty much everything he does. What sucks about the whole German Suplex spamming is that if you go back and watch that Cena vs. Lesnar match that changed everything, Brock actually used a wide variety of suplexes in that match. But for some reason, either WWE or Brock decided that he should only do Germans, and it makes his already formulaic matches that much more dull now that we've seen our fair share of Suplex City Brock matches.

It's almost like he woke up and said "How can I be even MORE of a lazy bastard? How can I give even LESS of a shit? I know. I'll do the same move 30 times in a row and then hit one F5." Awful. Modern Brock is the ultimate “you’ve seen one match, you’ve seen them all” wrestler. But, like, at least Ric Flair’s match was entertaining. Makes me wish he felt compelled more often to deviate from that, like his Finn Balor match that was genuinely quite good.

I remember feeling that way about Brock vs. Samoa Joe; it was the one match WWE could book that would get me to go out of my way to watch, they book it, the buildup is strong, and I'm expecting 10-15 minutes of just the two of them brutalizing each other, and...nah, didn't really get that at all. Didn't watch last night, but why did Heyman turn against Brock? I get he's still aligned with Roman, but wouldn't it be a good heel strategy for them to keep Lesnar as WWE champion, to ensure Brock is far less likely to challenge for Roman's belt at WM? Or did they just want to screw with him?

I don't really get what's in it for them.

Pretty average I thought. Sloppy too. The finish was great though despite the new ref counting the pin fall when he had to know Roman get involved.
The ref that got knocked out should have counted the fall basically.

I was underwhelmed but hey, at least it happened. I'd been waiting for this match for years, and honestly I wish it hadn't.
