It fascinates me how people (wide net and don't necessarily mean here) do not see that Vince may change the wrestling product on a whim but if it isn't obvious, by the numbers, it doesn't matter anyway...There are so many other factors now outside of what happens in the ring and frankly outside of Vince McMahon.

The WWE becoming public and now basically being the Walmart of wrestling has killed all of the good stuff about the company, they are literally a money making creative black hole.

Its insane to even think about when you get outside of the wrestling/show aspect of WWE. There are multiple divisions of the company from the WWE shop, to WWE films, to The company itself that has amassed enough owned footage to live forever in streaming syndication as well. Each of these divisions have heads and none of them is dependent on what is actually going on in the ring as long as they have access to the superstars if necessary. Walmart is a good comparison when looking at Sam Walton and Vince McMahon's upbringings. They as well want to be the only game in town for everything regardless of how mundane.

Also I would wager that there are hundreds of WWE employees down that chain of the different divisions from finance, to wwe films or otherwise that do not watch the product whatsoever.

Last I heard they preferred to hire people who weren't wrestling fans. I remember Smart Mark Sterling mentioning that on a podcast I listened to, he wanted to work there on the production side doing the documentary work and video packages since he had his degree and work experience in media work, but someone found out and didn't like that he was also a wrestler along with not wanting him to wrestle anymore.

I would wager that the wrestlers, refs, and that bubble takes up what 200-300 people? If they are even considered due to their contract status.

I can understand not wanting to hire fans, but I wouldn't also disqualify candidates for it if they can do good work.
