Not shocked as he's the man and should be on a national stage. That said, I'm still wondering how they'll be able to cycle in and out the sheer amount of talent they have at their disposal. It's bonkers. And yes, I know they've done well so far, but they keep adding and adding folks and the people whose contracts they'll let expire are on the lower end of the totem pole.

Great pick-up, loved him as Killshot in LU and very eager to see what he can do in AEW.
I feel like we're about getting to the point with the roster size where they either need to be more forceful about cycling people in and out to rest them up (in the sense that you know there are going to be folks that are going to be too stubborn to take time off to heal unless they're flat out ordered to), get that second hour for Rampage, and/or start more actively booking Dark and Dark Elevation in particular. I know there's typically angles working through on those shows too, but IMO it's been a lot more piecemeal. Heck, TK can keep booking Dynamite and Rampage, delegate someone else to hold the book for the online shows so long as they're consistent.

Not a shock at all.
Should slot into the TNT title scene pretty quickly, IMO.

Great signing. Now let’s hope they get a second hour of Rampage soon.

Now the question is does Tony pay out for Chaka Khan Ain't Nobody for his music If they want to make him look like a star, then they should so long as it's not insanely expensive.

Now the question is does Tony pay out for Chaka Khan Ain't Nobody for his music Absolutely this. I'm fine with OC getting different music because it weirdly fits but Shane Strickland without wrestling fans mistiming the chorus for Ain't Nobody might as well not be Shane Strickland.

I've already been singing it for the last 10 minutes. It's CATCHY.

I agree.... people got on WWE for the amount of talent they were bringing in (and rightfully so in the past couple years before the pandemic), but I feel like AEW has been accruing a ton of talent in the past few months. I know they have Dark and Elevation along with Dynamite/Rampage. But a lot of the signings are people that I would think expect pushes on Dynamite and Rampage.... it might catch up to them eventually. I don't think it's a huge issue right now, but it's approaching so. edit: I saw he is signed to NJOA as well. I'm really wondering if the "big announcement" that TK is working on is a full on working relationship with New Japan. This would mean the companies could trade talent to keep people/feuds fresh.

It will catch up eventually but a big thing for AEW is they allow wrestlers to take outside bookings so that likely offsets some issues.

I do wonder if that frustrates some wrestlers, but it definitely helps offset things.

It's time to expand Rampage to 2 hours....
If you are an established wrestlers though AEW is great, you can work once a week..probably get atleast a handful of shows off a month and really extend your career, nothing taxing about that schedule at all. If they can get down the rotation and build up enough performers where they don't all have to be on every week, it's a great situation to be in.
