Edge was the first guy I was thinking of. Besides him he's getting a ton of love on social media right now. Yeah, I saw he is getting a ton of love He is a good dude and will be back stronger than he was before but this is def one of those gut punch hits that lowers everyone morale to see a good dude like him go down And Ridge Holland will have to ride this wave out. No doubt he will get shit on and even tho injuries happen off the most basic moves, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets a little side eye and "punishment" off this He needs to just pick some better moves or just I don't know, do something. First he damn near injured Gargano with that botched powerslam, like, a powerslam to somebody of Gargano's size and now we've got this Big E thing. Like, usually for things like this we can say "he didn't know that guy was that heavy" but when it happens to a smaller guy too, I just don't know. He's still green. It's just another example of how WWE sucks with their call-up system because even in NXT they didn't let him do much.

First thing first, best wishes to Big E for a speedy recovery. Secondly, I doubt we’ll see any of it here, because we’re not the f***in’ Wild West like Twitter or Facebook or Reddit, but just remember to keep your emotions in check as it relates to Ridge Holland. Dude probably feels absolutely wretchedly horrible about all this as it is, and now the scum in this fanbase will now feel it necessary to wish harm on him because he hurt someone so beloved. Big E or Kofi or Xavier wouldn’t want that, and it doesn’t make Big E’s neck heal any faster. Save your breath if that kind of thing is all you’re willing to contribute. I came here to say this. It was a freak incident. I get people are upset because something happened to Gargano, too, but the guy's been wrestling for six years. He's not like two days in. Best of luck to E. Awful timing, I'm just glad he's OK.

I don't put the blame on Holland, I put it on WWE. It's the inevitable end result of their current, "We'll just batch train guys and then rush them onto TV," approach.

But its less on Ridge and more on WWE demanding the guy does a move he is not ready to do in a guy of Big Es size. Big E seems like one of the best guys in wrestling , hoping he recovers well

That was very scary to watch. Glad he has feeling in his arms and legs and hope he recovers as quick as he can.

I hope Brodie Lee Jr is ok. Big E is like family to that little guy.

Definitely not Ridge Holland’s fault. But the direction of their training does worry me. We just had Amari Miller getting hurt against Lash Legend too. If WWE is intent on using new greener talent on tv, they need to learn fast that you can’t be giving these people moves there could go this sideways. It needs to be safe stuff, or you run the risk of injuries.

Just awful. Hopefully it will be an easy fix and recovery for Big E. And I wouldn’t go blaming Holland for anything. An overhead belly to belly on a guy Big E’s size is not a good idea to begin with and has little margin for error.

I don't want anybody to suffer a broken neck in the ring, but of all people why Big E? He's honestly the most lovable guy in WWE, and one of the most genuinely good people I've ever seen in this business.
Get well soon big man.

Holland has been wrestling since 2016 and joined the WWE in 2018. He wasn't exactly rushed to the main roster. I hope Big E gets well soon.

Here's to a speedy recovery for Big E.
I'm not gonna be blaming Holland for a freak accident. Doing that move to a guy Big E's size, on the outside where it's probably slicker and easier to mess up was a dumb decision. And from the little I remember of Ridge on NXT it's not like he was doing a lot of overhead belly to bellys anyways.
Just unfortunate all the way around.

Please nobody take this in a negative way because it was legit my first thought. Nothing to do with Ridge as my sympathies are with him in this time as well. It shows how safe a worker Big E is when after all those years with us worrying about the middle rope spear going wrong, it was a freak spike that could've happened to anyone that got him

Belly to belly suplex spots on the floor always make me nervous, honestly. Doesn't matter who's doing them.

That was a terrible position to have put Big E in.
It’s a dangerous spot even in an optimal scenario and it’s something that a green worker should never be tasked with doing.
It’s difficult to fault Ridge Holland here. The blame belongs with those who designed this spot for a woefully inexperienced wrestler.
Get well soon, Big E.

Heard about this (and "Butch" *sigh*) in the Rampage thread earlier. Best wishes to Big E. Glad to hear he's in good spirits. It could have been a whole lot worse.

There is no better human being in WWE than Big E. I hope he comes back stronger than ever.

I hope Brodie Lee Jr is ok. Big E is like family to that little guy. Amanda Huber tweeted feeling sick to her stomach when it happened, so no doubt they're all taking it hard, since yeah, Big E's family.
