I believe it was ACH vs Matt Sydal.
The crowd was really hot for it and I just remember it being a really fun match!

Neat, they actually have it here: prowrestling.fandom.com/wiki/WWF_House_Show_(Mar_10,_89%27_no.1) Tim Horner defeated Jose Luis Rivera At least I think this was it. I remember it being at the Cow Palace and Savage/Warrior being the main event, and me being in 6th grade (which would have been 89). As for the opening match, I literally have no idea who either of those guys are/were.

Is the show with a tournament and broadcast on Channel 5? If so I watched this when it aired and bloody loved it. Have tried to find footage of it since then. Would have loved to see this live.
There was hardly a week gone by in the late nineties and early noughties when British wrestling wasn't coming back. First there was the Dirtbike Kid's promotion, then there was the UWA which turned out to be shit, then I think EWW upset the local newspapers for being too violent and had a cage match so was therefore the British ECW, then there was WrestleXpress where I think the promoter ended up getting done for fraud, and I'm sure I'm missing a few things out. It must've come back to life more times than Dirty Den in Eastenders. In a weird way I sort of miss it.
To be fair though, Revival was actually a good show and did help kickstart the FWA as a proper modern British promotion that laid the foundations for the 2010s indy boom, and that felt modern and you weren't embarrassed to watch. So fair f***s.
Yeah that's the one! Thanks for sharing the link, I'll be checking that out later. Having only really watched WWF and WCW by this point, watching this show really opened my eyes to Indy feds. It blew my mind at the time though seeing Brian Christopher and Eddie Guerrero wrestling in this setting. The whole thing left an impression on me. It was a couple years later when The Wrestling Channel debuted on Sky that I saw FWA and noticed the similarities in style.

Mid 80s at the Newmarket Community Center. Being pretty young all I remember is the first match being Little Mr.T vs someone I can't remember.
But I do remember the main event being Ricky Johnson vs The Shiek. Just blood all over.

The Berzerker vs. Tom Stone. I was five years old and in the second row. A minute or so into the match, Stone got thrown into the guard rail right in front of us. I thought for sure we were going to get beaten up at some point by one of these lunatic bad guys.

I have no clue, the first show I went to I was 6 or 7 months old.
First show I went to I remember was early 80s in Biloxi. Was a Mid South show. I vaguely remember the opening match was Mike Boyette vs someone.
First WWF event I went to was the first time they ran Biloxi. Opening match was Boris Zukoff vs Barry Horowitz. Barry won and the crowd went nuts.

Went to Raw in Dayton, OH. Got there late because of a coaching obligation, so I missed Ambrose vs Riley in a dark match
So, my first match was an instant classic between The Miz and Santino
The next match was Layla vs the Bella’s in a triple threat title match that lasted 11 seconds
Shockingly, I’ve only gone to one more show since
A couple of positives came when Kofi and R-Truth beat the Colons for the tag titles and the main event was Daniel Bryan vs Jerry Lawler
The main event segment definitely had Lord Tensai, but I don’t remember what he did lol

My first show was a WCW house show in May 1991 I think but don't remember the matches. I do remember my first WWF show which was at the Baltimore Arena, as was the WCW show. First match was Bastion Booger v. Owen Hart. I was sure Booger would be a star but didn't think the same for Owen. LOL.

Tekno Team 2000 vs. The Heavenly Bodies was the first live match I saw and I have no memory of it since I was 5 and those guys were lame. I do remember bits and pieces of Bam Bam vs. Sid, Razor vs. Jarrett in a ladder match, and Bret vs. Hakushi.

first WWE show in 2004 was Tajiri and Rhyno vs Hurricane and S.H.I.T., Stacy was the guest ring announcer, I only remember her being ring announcer because Rhyno got on the mic afterwards to remind us how hot she is

It was a WWF house show in Albuquerque, New Mexico, January 1992. Opening match was Tatanka vs Kato. Tatanka hadn't officially debuted on TV yet. I had been seeing his "Coming Soon" vignettes for weeks but he had yet to wrestle on TV. It was more than my 10 year old brain could comprehend. I felt like I was witnessing something so incredibly special to see Tatanka wrestle before anybody else. 😂

Furnas and Lafon vs Two Jobbers in a tag match prior to the Shotgun taping right before the live RAW at the Nassau Coliseum late December 1997, (Austin beats up Goldust in a port-o-potty, Chainsaw Charlie Debuts, George Steele teams up with Taka to take on the Lawlers, and HBK vs Owen in the main event for the title)

Some of you had awesome opening matches at your first show. Mine sadly was Bill DeMott v Shannon Moore as the pre-show dark match.

Matt Hardy vs Carlito at Superstars taping in 2010.
The main event for the Smackdown taping that followed was Edge vs Chris Jericho vs Jack Swagger for the World Heavyweight Championship.
