I definitely think he's one of the all time greats. He's been in so many of my favorite matches.

He's in a weird spot. Not *quite* as good as he/WWE pushes the narrative, but better than his detractors say he is. A top 10 talent who had a ton of terrific feuds/matches.

The one thing I say about triple h is that when his matches were happening, I knew as a fan I was getting a quality match in ring wise.

That 99/2000 run was legit him argueably being the best in the world at that moment and one of the greatest runs of any heel ever and is my favourite run of is.
Dood may have been an absoloutle politic god but in the ring he more often than not gave as much as he took and while he isn't on the level of Rock and Austin , IMO he is still extremely vital to their success because of how amazingly he fit as the primary heel.

Those matches with Mick at the Rumble and No Way Out are still amazing. As a kid I was so sad when HHH won both, which is a testament to how good he was as a heel.

2000 is my favorite year ever in wrestling with him as the top heel and Rock as the top face. That Jan-Apr run is my favorite title reign ever. It only lasted a little over 100 days but every week something insane was happening and it was full of classic matches and moments and the match he lost the title in is arguably the greatest babyface wins/heel gets comeuppance moment ever.

On that note, I'll chip in that he always filled his role really well. As a kid if he was a heel, I hated him. If he was a face, I liked him.

HHH as a heel both in 99-2000 & yes, I'll say it, the Reign of Terror, was GOLD.
He absolutely made Batista. And sold Cactus Jack as if death itself had come for him.
Yes, WWE sometimes acted like he was Christ reincarnated, but so many underrate him.
IMO, he's in the tier below Hogan, Rock, Cena but above HBK, Jericho, Eddie. He'd be with Bret, Undertaker and Sting.
Thank you for the memories HHH.

Honestly, he gave me some of my favorite years in wrestling at all with NXT, AND he was a pivotal part in Seth becoming the "Kingslayer", which was one of my favorite wrestling comeuppance stories from the last ten years. So thanks for all of that, HHH. Enjoy your retirement and stay healthy.

I’ve always been about the rebellious, young underdog. And the real first one when I got into wrestling..was Trips when he was leading DX. So, he’ll always have a soft spot for me.
He has entrenched a legacy that’ll be looked at for a long, long time.

When I got back into wrestling in early 2006, Trips immediately grabbed my attention with his badass entrance and being the opposite of Cena.
I think he is (like his protegé Orton) in this almost-top tier spot where he's never considered one of the GOATS, but an important and reliable main event player. While many of his matches were kinda plodding, I always appreciated him as a storyteller in the ring.
Plus, of course, he was the architect of NXT during its golden age.
So, thank you, Triple H! Now take care of yourself, man.

While not his biggest fan and while having many faults, he was a tremendous heel and a huge part of WWE for many years, had many excellent matches and moments and helped bring a lot of superbly talented men and women into the company. A legend for sure deserving of his own hall of fame spot. All the best to Hunter and his family.

I was there live in State College the night Jericho “won” the WWF Title on Raw. People were jumping up and down they were so happy. THAT’S a heel.
Never one of my all-time favorites but I could probably put a long list of his matches and promos that I love. For some reason, I’m thinking of the Fake Mankind skits with Dennis Knight where H was playing the promoter. “Ya stank. Ya’re stankin’ up the joint.”
Thank you, Triple H. You truly were bi a lot of things…wait, what did I just say?

Part of one of wrestling's most iconic stables and a very decorated career. Happy that he's doing what's good for his health and family.

While he was never one of my favorites as an active competitor, PapaH won my heart over and put on some of the best WWE shows of the last many years.
Thank you, HHH.

I always wondered his career looks like if he never tore his quad. The time off was probably a blessing in disguise, but that injury forced him to slightly alter his style enough where he was still a terrific worker, but just wasn't *quite* the same.
