I really do wonder if the recent RLM videos led to this transparency. Regardless, that sounds horrible for Bruce. Fortunately it seems he’s got a loving family to help him forward.

Remember how the Razzies did a whole category about his recent films this year despite rumors of something like this being the case? They suck.

He's one of my all time favorite actors-probably him and Charles Bronson for action. I hope for good things for him, if possible. I do like most of his lesser known, direct to DVD movies the past few years. I know people criticize him for getting top billing while only being in a few minutes but most I've seen he had lengthy parts other than Midnight in the Swithgrass.

Looks like RLM were onto something. This would certainly explain his recent work.

That's a shame. Hopefully Bruce has many years surrounded by family to enjoy his life.

Well, the bargain bin at Wal-Mart just got a bit lighter.
That said, sorry his career had to end like this.

Dude's going to live on forever, The Die Hard Series, Hudson Hawk, Moonlighting, Brotha even had an album on Motown Records!
Salute to one of the GOATs hope he's able to enjoy the rest of his life out of the limelight.

Well goddamn, I love a lot of Bruce’s stuff. Die Hard obviously (except 5, 5 sucked), Moonlighting (own 3 seasons on DVD), basically his entire 90’s run, damn shame he’s being forced out like this.

He’s made some good films, he’s made some great films, he’s made some bloody awful films, but he’s leaving behind a hell of a lot of entertainment in some way, shape or form.
Good luck to him in the future.

Die Hard (yes, even 4 and 5) wouldn’t work nearly as well as it did without Bruce Willis’s performances as John McClane.

Damn. That's really awful for the poor guy, I'm shocked. Sounds like I need to watch that RLM video.
And while his craptacular output over the past decade is well known and derided (he's far from the only one plumbing those depths, of course), the guy has some genuine bangers on his resume and Die Hard in particular made a lasting impact.
Think I'll watch The Fifth Element again this weekend.

Die Hard series, Looper, 12 Monkeys, Pulp Fiction, Unbreakable, Sin City, Armageddon(cheesy film but it was entertaining and he was great in it), and my favorite film of all time, The Fifth Element.
Genuinely a Hall of Fame career if they had one for actors. Happy trails Bruce.

God Damn it.
One of the first Hollywood actors I learned the name of as a kid. Along with Schwarzenegger and Stallone. The OG Die Hard trilogy, Death Becomes Her, Pulp Fiction, Look Who's Talking, Sin City are some my favourite movies and he was a big part in all of them.
I hope he has a good life.

He has been more fortunate than a lot of these types. He got paid VERY well for the awful movies he was making, and I've never seen any suggestion he's had financial problems, so I assume he's been just wanting to leave Tallulah, Rumer, and Scout a nest egg, plus his two younger kids. I'd imagine that's going to be secure. I don't think the trash movies are going to harm his legacy much. They'll be brought up, sure, but people are going to primarily remember Moonlighting and films like Die Hard, Sixth Sense, The 5th Element, that sort of fare, along with movies like Looper that came later but were fairly warmly received. Hell, even outside of the BIG big stuff, you also get a lot of things like Armageddon, the Last Boy Scout, Hudson Hawk, the Jackal, or other things that weren't going to end up on anyone's top film lists, but have their adherents. There's also oddities like that PS1 game I forget the name of, plus his music career, but hey, we don't talk about Bruno. ![:P](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/tongue.png)
