Seeing the Street Sharks thread made me remember this. I liked S1 more than I liked S2 and QuestWorld was a bitch and a half to make but it did add something to the show

The truly epic opening title sequence is the only thing I remember about the show.

The truly epic opening title sequence is the only thing I remember about the show. I remember that and the fact that the people behind the original Toonami block were mandated to show it in reruns and they hated it. To the point where when it ended, they made this…

The most I remember about this show is having a bit of a crush on Jessie. >_>

So were his previous adventures not real?

I liked the show when it was on, but being that this was in the 1990s, the "real" aspect in the title just screams that era with its "extreme" and "full of attitude" trends at the time, when the stuff they went through didn't differ that much from the old 1960s version or even the 1980s version. But apart from that, I liked the animation style that the show had, even though it was clear that not only did the first and second seasons have different animation studios doing the show, but also had different cast members for the voices. I recall Robert Patrick playing Race in the first season. I also liked the Questworld sequences, as the CGI imagery was cutting edge during that time (looking back, it doesn't look that great).

The most I remember about this show is having a bit of a crush on Jessie. >_> Her impersonation of Samus' Super Metroid dying animation during the intro was spot-on.

One thing I have to comment on is the final moments (well, one I assume without looking up) for the two top villains of the show, Jeremiah Surd and Ezekiel Rage, having a bit of darkness to them.
Rage from what I remember ended up being sent back in time, as the last we see of him is his face fossilized.
Surd was less dark as he was still alive, but vindictive on Jessie's part (since she was being used by him in what I believe was his final episode): She trapped him Questworld, but removed the access to body mobility that they gave him in his debut, meaning he was pretty much paralyzed in both worlds (and if no one could get him out of Questworld...)

I remember two things about this show:
1) In the early 2000's, it would air at like, 5 or 6 in the morning, before Captain Planet (which I was in the process of recording)
2) The episode where Surd turned himself into Medusa and turned the Bannons to stone

I knew it was on a different level after watching the episode they were in an underwater lab and were attacked by a swarm of sea monsters. People kept getting killed and the episode had a sci-fi/horror element.

This is a show I remember I watched a lot, but I remember almost zero about. Johnny Quest was a blonde kid, there was a man with brown hair and a beard and I wanna say a kid with a turban.
And that's it. Can't remember a single episode, though I know I watched it every day as a kid.

That intro is still one of the most fire kids show intros of all time.

I remember liking it alright, but it did feel like a bit of a relic, even with the new polish.

CBBC aired this a lot on weekends, I remember how Surd looked way different in both seasons due to the animation houses

Dr Zin went from a withered husk in the 90’s TV movies to looking like Ming the Merciless on steroids. The continuity is weird.
