Again I ask... Whatever came of the allegations? Like... is he a POS? Or not? Does something need to "come" of an allegation? Like I don't know what you're looking for here. He probably thinks this was Brooke Hogans fault as well.

Just because someone is accused of doing something, doesn't actually mean they did the thing. As someone who has both been falsely acussed and charged and also studied law, I was wondering if there was more. Like... I don't understand your question.

Just because someone is accused of doing something, doesn't actually mean they did the thing. As someone who has both been falsely acussed and charged and also studied law, I was wondering if there was more. Like... I don't understand your question. Well what is "come of" here? Is it specifically him going to jail or copping to what he did? Because the implication of we're 'assuming' because nothing "came of" it is a very slippery slope. If you've studied law then maybe you've also seen the statistics on how underreported sex crimes often are. What we do know is that WWE claimed they did an investigation, Josh Fuller claims WWE never contacted him in that course of that investigation, and eventually WWE released Dream for unspecified reasons and 'budget cuts'. Just because someone is accused of doing something might not mean they did the thing, but that doesn't stop people from looking at the evidence put forward and coming to their own conclusions about what happened.

I will say that it shocks me they never tried with Dream when he was at his hottest when no one knew nothing, but they tried to make Lars Sullivan work on the main roster, twice, WITH his bullshit ever present and honestly seemingly getting worse, both resounding failures too.
I GET why, because "big", but even then... yeesh.

He was good at the character work but not that good in the ring. Trips also viewed him as something of a pet project. Probably why he never got a chance to get exposed on Raw or Smackdown.
Considering who Patrick Clark turned out to be, I'd say that ended up for the best.

"Patrick Clark Jr. (born August 19, 1995) is an American professional wrestler and alleged child predator. He is best known for his time in WWE where he performed under the ring name Velveteen Dream."
While I guess not wholly inaccurate... that is a brutal way for your Wikipedia to start.
I'm not sure what the right outcome is. The messages I saw definitely didn't look good, but the punishment is about as big and serious as it gets ('life ruined and branded a child predator forever'). Not sure that sits right with me either.

Think the only matches he really ever had that were worth seeing, not counting the North American title ladder match, are the Black and Riddle ones.

Taking out the allegations, even when Dream was at his hottest as a performer the word out of NXT was they felt Dream was too immature to get called up to the main roster so it seems like the feeling among many was that he would have flamed out

Dude could have been a Once in a Lifetime talent. Instead, that talent was wasted and turns out he was a Nonce in a Lifetime.
