I give this week's Dynamite a 10 on the Demented All Cheeked Up scale.

8. Great show. Loved Punk troll and MJF stuff. I think they should tone some stuff down though. Sammy almost killed himself the other week and that Darby spot tonight was insanely dangerous. Save it for PPV. My take on it is, Darby and Jeff may never wrestle again... you gotta do one crazy spot

Highlights: - Hayter/Storm was fantastic, hard hitting but with a great pace. Best match in any of the Owen tourney matches so far. - I liked how much offence Silver got in against Punk, way more fun than being a squash. - Regal getting a punch in on Jericho was great. - Starks/Jungle Boy was good too, as was Harwood/Cole.
Lowlights: - The bizarre decision to have a one move squash match, making Tony Nese seem even more uninteresting because we don't even see him wrestle, the one thing he's presumably good at beyond growing extra sets of abs. - The main event. Uncomfortable spot after spot, with no flow, direction, or relevance to the tourney it's in, the kind of match I could happily never watch again. - Britt Baker getting more promo time rather than either of the women actually wrestling tonight.

That’s hyperbole, but wacky stuff happens often. This is going to be forgotten in a few weeks when something nuttier happens.

Shocking and completely tone deaf that they'd do such a high risk spot with Owen Hart's widow in attendance. I wonder if she's regretting getting involved with AEW after seeing that.

It’s more shockingly tone deaf to be putting words into his widow’s mouth and disingenuously feigning outrage on her behalf on the internet.

7.5. I’ll round it to an 8 on the MJF/Wardlow segment alone.
Purdy good dynamite.

Normally an 8 but bumped up one point for being in the most magical place on earth.

Went 9. Don’t get giving Tony Nese the Danhausen squash. Main event was what it was. Darby and Jeff have exactly zero brain cells between the two of them so, I can’t say it surprised me at all.
Everything else was great.

Thought it was a pretty good show minus one or two things.
Didn't like the placement of the women's match as usual, especially since it was an Owen match. They worked their asses off and got the crowd though.
Danhausen being squashed sucked. I get what they were going for but doing it with Nese is baffling to me. So many great talents that could be in his spot. Nese being signed still confuses me.
Pretty much liked the rest of the show.
Placement aside, Storm vs Hayter delivered, opening match was great, Punk and Hangman stuff was great, Starks vs Jungle Boy was fun and the main event was fine but I just can't get in to Jeff matches anymore but still a fine match with insane bumps.
I think an 8 seems right.
Oh and JR was extra bad tonight lol

A 10/10. Every match delivered (I wish Storm vs. Hayter had gotten a couple more minutes though).
Some great story segments.
Hot crowd.
Etc.

There have been many wonderful moments in AEW. Hangman winning the gold. Sting returning. But tonight, we saw greatness as THE HOOK met THE HAUSEN!!
So, in short, 10/10.

Wasn't trying to start anything. Just stating my opinion. I hope I don't get banned for that. I've been here a long long time.
