Over/under on Cody bleeding buckets here? I think WWE will allow him to bleed the hardway but no blading.

Must be nice to be an Uso. I can see the tag titles not defended on this show too. Since it looks like Riddle may be injured.

Man, I can't say I'm even remotely excited for Bianca to bulldoze over yet another woman. It's why I hope Becky somehow gets into the match and eats the pin here. Because the audience reception to Bianca is getting colder every week with her now. Because she never faces any real adversity or setbacks. She's basically a Mary Sue character. It also doesn't help that Asuka hasn't won a televised singles match completely clean in over a year now.

Yeah, she randomly got booed the night after Mania and she & Asuka had a weak reception at the end of Raw a couple of weeks back. But I think that was mostly the crowd knowing a shit finish was coming. Otherwise, she seems to be getting the same response she was always getting. Doesn't really seem like the crowd is turning on her at all yet.

The new match is Lashley vs. Omos and MVP in a handicap match.

It's astounding how every single part of this Lashley / Omos thing has been ass-backwards. Lashley comes back right before Mania, takes Omos off his feet right then instead of saving it for the show. Lashley wins clean at Mania, MVP takes this as a cue to turn on him and side with Omos. They do a cage match, it ends inconclusively to serve as the lead-in to doing a handicap match. It's like they wrote the whole story in advance but then the papers got jumbled and instead of fixing them they're just trying to wing it.

Please lord baby snitksy: let this Hell in a Cell PPC actually end a feud. I am not foolish enough to think it will end all the feuds despite the fact that's it's Hell in a F@!#ing Cell. You know; the ultimate "this the end" type of match? But can it PLEASE at least end one? Just one?
Thanks!

I think they’re simultaneously trying to get the Omos/MVP pairing over and keep Lashley strong. At Mania, Lashley won but didn’t want MVP to accompany him to the ring. MVP is pissed about that and so joins up with Omos. MVP helps Omos defeat Lashley at Backlash. Sets up a cage match, where Lashley only wins due to the cage break. The handicap match will set up either Lashley getting revenge on MVP or MVP/Omos win, potentially continuing the storyline. Everything up until the handicap match made sense. Not sure where they’re going with it now.

I would expect MVP to eat the pin. Handicap match wins the majority of the time go to the single wrestler these days even though they shouldn't.

Out of the 6 Handicap Matches that have taken place in 2022, the last 2 have been won by the side with more wrestlers. 1) Omos defeated The Hurt Business (Cedric Alexander & Shelton Benjamin in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match (2/14/22 RAW) 2) Omos defeated Commander Azeez & Apollo Crews in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match (3/21/22 RAW) 3) Omos defeated The Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) by Count Out in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match (3/28/22 RAW) 4) Drew McIntyre defeated Happy Corbin & Madcap Moss in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match (3/28/22 RAW) 5) Legado Del Fantasma (Cruz Del Toro, Elektra Lopez, & Joaquin Wilde) defeated Josh Briggs & Fallon Henley in a 3-on-2 Handicap Mixed Tag Team Match (4/26/22 NXT) 6) The Miz & Theory defeated Mustafa Ali in a 2-on-1 Handicap Match (5/2/22 RAW)

Really wish this show was on a Saturday. I am completely sold on Saturday shows now. So much easier to follow.

Stoked for Ezekiel that he gets to make his PPV debut. What a moment.

It's beating a dead horse still saying this after over a decade but I hate that HIAC is a PPV. Seth and Cody's matches have been great but the feud isn't personal or violent enough for the gimmick.
I see Ezekiel beating Owens then Owens starting a slow-burn face turn leading to him and Sami v the Usos at Summerslam.
Bianca/Becky/Asuka should be a great match but I'd have preferred the original plans of Bianca/Naomi, Ronda/Sasha and Becky/Asuka. Asuka and Becky deserved a 1 on 1 PPV match with their history.
