What did he tweet?Just throwing this out there: there were reports that MJF and Khan got into a shouting match over MJF doing an unauthorized interview (where of course he put WWE over). From a great distance not being there, seems like a fairly minor deal. But in shouting matches, sometimes things are said. Knowing MJF’s ability to say hurtful/insulting things and twist the knife, it’s doubtful that the son of a billionaire has ever had that happen to him … especially from an employee. So MJF could have said something and Tony isn’t over it, or Tony could have said some things and MJF isn’t over it — or just between what they said it’s become an uncomfortable work environment for both of them. Could have been things simmering since then and they’ve come to a boil. He basically laughed at the WWE for having to move MITB from a stadium to an arena and for being dumb enough to try to run a stadium show in Vegas against UFC during International Fight Week. Well that is funny though... |

Slotting him into the title match sounds dumb. Hotshot like that borks whatever they're building to in the main and kneecaps Wardlow with "cashing in" level crap.
I understand the appeal but I'd instantly lose interest.

The main thing about “MJF wants out of AEW now” thing I don’t get is… why didn’t he just ask for his release? We have heard rumors he wants out, but he hasn’t asked to be let go. It was even reported Khan was fine with not extending Cody’s contract because he was unhappy. If he wanted out asap just pull a JBL/Mysterio from Mania a while back and have him shout “I quit!” after a squash.
This whole thing is giving me a headache. I need to sleep.

You know, if MJF is trying to bend TK over the proverbial barrel here, not only is he screwing over Wardlow, but also Shawn Spears. Spears has really hit his stride as MJF's lackey, and he'll basically be back to square one if MJF decides to be a diva.

Wardlow winning the belt would be something I'm actually ok with if it REALLY came down to it... like even him just being in the match would add a ton of intrigue to it, but we don't know where it's full stop headed yet
This whole thing's just... madness, before the PPV event.

I don't get the people who are saying this is a work. There's being a heel and then there's screwing fans out of their money they paid to meet you at a meet and greet. I mean keep in mind MJF launched his own crypto coin at one point and ran off with the money (all crypto is a scam to be fair), and people just bought it as him being a heel. What?! |
