This is such an exciting situation. I absolutely cannot wait to see how Tony Khan handles this as it's something where we know how Vince would handle it and has been criticized the following weeks for it. How does TK handle it, especially since he doesn't have experience in this area.

Handier thing in aspect, in terms of kayfabe, it’s been established that Mark Sterling is a terrible lawyer so there’s an out for Wardlow, as much of a flat ending story wise that would be.

That's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy later than I thought it would be. I've never heard of a contract situation like this in wrestling this far out. Like, within 4 months I get but that long? Wow. Going by the rumor mill MJF wants more money now. Ostensibly that's fine if he extends his current contract. MJF is unwilling to do so. For his part SRS debunks this in his current YouTube livestream. |

So the promotion's biggest heel went MIA for a match that was clearly going to lead to his ass being thoroughly demolished, right at the same time that he's been teasing contractual problems on-screen and on the dirtsheets, and also right after two major matches were added to the card, and y'all seriously think that a very intelligent 26 year old prodigy decided to go AWOL as a negotiation tactic?
I will wager anyone that within a year this is being revealed as a work

If it’s a work, I’ll honestly lose a lot of interest with the product. This bullshit level of working the fans is something I don’t want in a product I’m watching. So 20 pages worth of engagement in 12 hours on one message board is bullshit If the person isnt enjoying it,yeh. He doesnt wanna have to mix up kayfabe and real life-worries. |

So 20 pages worth of engagement in 12 hours on one message board is bullshit No, wasting the time and getting up the hopes of a bunch of people waiting in line for a meet-and-greet, as well as putting needless work on people trying to report on the story, in addition to leaving one of the biggest matches on your PPV in limbo the day beforehand is bullshit. The show's tomorrow, unless it's due to some outside factor like an injury, an illness, or weather there shouldn't be any uncertainty as to whether the second biggest match on the card you're expected to pay $50 for, that probably is part of what sold a good chunk of the tickets for the show,, that's been built up for literally years, is actually going to f***ing happen. |

If it is a work, AEW won't collapse or anything but they should really reign this in and not pull something like it again. |
