Goodell is a useless stooge who also makes 64m a year. What a life. In this case I’m willing to give Goodell a pass of sorts as the league were consistent in them wanting a year long suspension and just listening to the Owners of the Browns the Haslams, it’s them who should be dragged for this. Jimmy haslam is standing there like he’s thinking “ I shouldn’t have lower myself to answer questions about this.” This was also a joint settlement by the NFL and NFLPA. I know the union is obligated to defend Watson no matter what but it still leaves a sour taste in my mouth. And yeah the entire Haslam family is scum. |

He didn’t apologize to the women. He apologized to his friends for….whatever they went through as he was accused. Guessing Watson's return will now be a regionally televised game in december that we'll not get to see (Browns are 3rd in the Charleston/Huntington WV market behind the bengals and Steelers) and that the Bengals will have more wins then the Browns this season

Rookie pass rushers tend to take a little while to make their marks. Apparently Aiden Hutchinson got a measure of how much he needs to improve over the last 2 days during joint practices with the Colts as his dueling with Colts RT Braden Smith was said to be very one-sided in favor of the veteran. Granted, Smith is one of the highest paid in his position for a reason so he’ll have less talented tackles to face in the season (including 2 games against the turnstiles “protecting” Justin Fields).
