The eagles beat the browns. I watched part of that, Dobbs looked pretty good, will be hilarious if Jacoby gets hurt and he kicks ass for the first 11 weeks. That would be awkward.

Saw this tweet and was confused as I’d heard nothing about any tragedy involving Talib, so I went on twitter and searched and oh boy I didn’t expect that to the be the reason.

"Needs to spend time with the family" seems to often translate to something not-at-all wholesome. I feel bad for those that actually take real time to actually spend time with the family. Not this type of "spend time with the family" AKA: I'm in deep doodoo.

What is big bro doing with a loaded gun while coaching a youth football team? Shit is wild.

Aqib Talib has had an ugly history of being in and around trouble since he joined the NFL. It always felt like Fox Sports, and now Amazon, was playing with fire by hiring Talib and bringing him into a high-profile broadcasting position.

That’s his brother in trouble not him tho, can’t account for that and put that on him

Sometimes Bleacher Report puts out some stupid ideas. They just posted an article where they suggested one trade for every team and two of the ones involving the Colts make no sense (actually, the third one they suggested for the Colts also doesn’t add up either). Here’s the two that really don’t jive:
1) GB trades Jordan Love to the Colts (suggested price of a 2nd). 2) Colts trade Sam Ehlinger to the Bucs (no suggested compensation).
For starters, only a team looking for a potential starter would trade for Love right now. No one is trading a 2nd for a bench QB on an expiring contract. That’s just stupid. Secondly, if the Colts are truly looking for a backup QB to develop into a starter, they might as well keep Ehlinger. The article bragged on a strong outing by Love, but Sam has two such outings so far this preseason (going 19/22, 224 yds, 4 TD and no INT in slightly over 2 quarters of work). Why trade for a guy you have to resign right away if this guy still has 3 years of rookie deal ahead of him?

I feel like that story is the definition of: "Go write a bunch of shit takes so we have offseason content to post"

Wouldn’t be surprised if he ends with some kind of charge out of this. Probably nothing major though.

I remember saying in the last thread when Amazon announced their booth that Talib was a shithead and I can't believe someone actually thought giving him a mic is a good idea. This is the 3rd time he's gotten in trouble with a firearm. The only person with worse judgment than him is whoever is dumb enough to hire his ass next.
