You joke but watch Jimmy G bullshit his way to another NFC Championship game. And then lose it in spectacular fashion because he’s a shit ass QB backed by an amazing defense and Deebo doing all the work for him. But just Handsome looks will guide you the Super Bowl!

But just Handsome looks will guide you the Super Bowl! All jokes aside, if Jimmy G wins the SB this year, Joe Flacco & Trent Dilfer will no longer be the worst QBs to win it all.

By the time he gets healthy he’ll have one year of meaningful football played against shitty D2 kids four years ago. At best it’s an “open” competition with Mr. Jimevitable who wipes the floor with him. The Niners gambled and lost. Should have taken Fields like I wanted.

I'll be honest with you Daley, Fields doesn't look much better, and they have zero confidence with him throwing the ball, and that's in year 2, not great.

I think if Fields had better talent and coaching around, he’d be looking a lot more appealing. His scrambling is actually conducive to staying healthy too, unlike Trey “Imma just truck you and die” Lance. Honestly all the top “upside” QBs of that draft are looking a little busty so far. Mac’s exactly fine, but as I always said you don’t swing for the fences for exactly fine.

I don't think Trey Lance is done or a bust... Dak was doing pretty good this year before getting hurt coming back from a similar injury I think I'm in the minority, but I agree with hashtagdaley/JudasDay that Justin Fields looks really, really good he has very little help around him from the skill positions and little protection worth a damn

I did see Pat McAfee commenting on being nominated for the HoF. To sum it up, he said it’s neat but he absolutely doesn’t deserve it and no one should vote for him, Shane Lechler does deserve it if any punter goes in, and openly wondered if his popularity after retirement is the only reason he was nominated. Glad he said it before anyone else had to say it first.
Who nominates people for the HoF? Is it their former team? If so, then him being nominated makes more sense. Jim Irsay loves him som Pat McAfee and has for some time. He even forced Grigson, the GM at the time, to resign him to a very generous contract despite the fact that Grigson absolutely loathed McAfee and spent much of his tenure actually feuding with him.

It’s not necessarily just the injury. It’s the years and years of sitting and inexperience on top of said injury. When next year rolls around, Trey will have had one good year of football in the previous four years. And it was four years ago against shitty D2 kids. Dude hasn’t flashed much of anything in camp or in games (despite me squinting and trying to see it). I really don’t think it’s going to happen with Trey.

Tomlin's too smart to keep trubisky at quarterback. That guy STINKS I found myself saying that like 6 times last night. But then another thought crossed me mind... Tomlin already might be playing his best QB.

Tomlin already might be playing his best QB. I think it’s more possible that he’s playing the QB with the most upside. - Mason Rudolph is a solid, high-end backup QB. That’s probably his peak, but that will keep him employed and well paid for years to come. I’m still not sure how he hasn’t been traded to SF or Dallas yet. They both need better backups. - No idea why Pickett excites anyone, but as a young unknown I’ll concede he hopefully has more upside than Rudolph. - Trubisky is who he is, but he did have a Pro Bowl season and has been a winner. He certainly has attractive skills at his disposal, but I don’t know if he’ll ever reach his potential.

Taylor Swift hs just been announced as the halftime performer for the Super Bowl next year.
Which means the streak of every show starting with Black Eyed Peas' career derailer at SB45 being either lame or outright dogshit continues.
