You know who might be an interesting team to go claim Baker? That would be the Texans. They’re at the top of the waiver wire and if they’re not in love with any of the upcoming rookie QBs renting Baker for 5 games to see if he could possibly be an option isn’t the craziest idea. Besides, the team has so many holes that they still will have the inside track for the #1 pick even if Baker balls out. If he does, draft an edge rusher or trade out and use the haul to draft a real Oline. If he fails, you’ll still have the #1 spot.
