Three concussions in less than a season for Tua. What a shame. It might be time for him to retire and think about his health. How many more concussions could he possibly take. And in such a short amount of time too. Keep in mind he dislocated his hip and fractured his posterior wall in which I believe they said the injury looked like he was in a car crash. He also had a concussion from that too The man is tough but yeah he's suffered some long term damaging injuries and he's only like 24 years old

I’ll surprised at the timing of Hackett being fired more so than the fact he’s been fired.
And Tua should under no circumstances play again this season, that is if the NFL actually mean what they say about player safety.

Inexplicably, somehow, the suck-ass 7-8 Patriots control their playoff destiny. If they win their final two games (lofty requests considering they play the Dolphins and end the season on the road in Buffalo), they're the final AFC Wild Card.
To make things even more ridiculous, they could beat Miami and lose to Buffalo, finish 8-9, and STILL make the playoffs. Right now, there are seven teams vying for the final Wild Card (Miami, New England, New York Jets, Tennessee and Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, Las Vegas). If New England finishes 8-9, provided they beat the Dolphins, there exists a scenario in which they would still be the seventh seed, as they hold the tiebreakers over each of those other teams, with the exception of the Raiders.

Miami has been skidding and they're gonna get Bridgewater (who hasn't played in 6 weeks or so) or a less than 100% Tua. I actually have (a completely unearned) faith in them to win this week. As for Buffalo: The Pats winning this week would (I believe) set it up where if Buffalo wins vs NE, they get Miami. If they lose to NE, they get.....NE. Which would YOU rather, if you're them?

Considering the injuries his body has been put thru I do not blame him for stepping away. He was an animal in his prime and without question going to the HOF

Buffalo could enter Week 18 with either nothing to play for or a lot to play for, depending on this weekend's results. With a win over Cincinnati on Monday night, the Bills would be in the driver's seat for the no. 1 seed in the AFC and a first-round bye. They would presumably go all-out in Week 18 against New England to keep that bye in tact. But a loss to the Bengals would put Buffalo possibly as low as third in the AFC, meaning they could only get the first-round bye with a victory and a lot of help in the final week of the season. In that scenario, I could see the Bills potentially calling off the dogs and resting their starters to end up (likely) playing Baltimore and Tyler Huntley or a not-yet-100 percent Lamar Jackson in the Wild Card round.

And in such a short amount of time too. There's no way he's retiring, that'd be leaving so much money on the table....look at Mitch Morse in Buffalo I think he's suffered something like 10-15 concussions in his career and missed a lot of games due to them and he won't retire.

He suffered his sixth and it has become a talking point. He’s an OL so it has flown under the radar until his recent one but Tua got knocked out on live TV. He’s going to be the poster child for this

It would just be reckless on Miami's part, and they're already in hot water considering the way they totally mishandled his initial head injuries earlier this season, leading to that ghastly sight on national television in Cincinnati. He could start Week 18 against the Jets if he has all the absolutely necessary clearances, but for his sake both this season and for his life after football, the wise thing would be to shut him down until the playoffs. This isn't one of those injuries that can't get worse by playing through it. He could suffer significant, life-altering effects by rushing back to the field.

Which is fantastic and all but what’s the odds by the time Mitch Morse is in his mid 40s he’s functioning like an Alzheimer’s patient in their 70s? Tua should at THE LEAST take the rest of the season off.

JJ Watt at his peak was an absolute animal. Like Reggie White levels of “f*** your blocking”, shame he had so many injuries, but even still he should be in the HoF. That’s not even taking into account all of the positive this that he did with various charities and so forth either.

This is a league where if you told the players they'd make huge money and have a great career if they took steroids but they'd die at 58...99% of them would do it. Truth is it's all they know, also Mitch Morse has a special needs sibling which is a huge reason he isn't retiring.

Commanders going back to Wentz at QB. No clue why Ron Rivera refuses to just go with Heinicke. I say get rid of all of them at start over at this point.
Wentz sucks, the Browns will probably beat the Commandant Lassards.
