I still have not heard anything about Hamlin since yesterday. Kind of worrisome.

The Patriots could find themselves in the AFC Divisional round without doing anything. If the Bills are too depressed to play this week, they would forfeit the game against the Patriots, which put them in the playoffs, and if the Bills are the 2 seed they would be schedule to play the Patriots, and if they are still too depressed to play, they forfeit that game and the Patriots in the 2nd round without playing a game.

Yeah, I don't think Buffalo is going to do that.

I have no clue how they're gonna work this out, but the seeding could potentially effect millions of dollars to Cincy, Buffalo, or KC for having homefield advantage....
Nobody wants to sound like an ass by asking about it, but something has to give and I'm sure the city leaders of those cities would love for the money to come into their economies....

Never underestimate the powers of ayahuasca. dude admitted to taking it, no clue how that isn’t addressed in the testing. I guess since he didn’t actually test positive for it? Is it even on the list? LMAO

This just in: Kayvon Thibodeaux likes the taste of his own feet, or at least you’d think so as he puts his foot in his mouth once again in his comments regarding Jeff Saturday.
For those that missed it, his response when asked about Saturday’s criticism of his actions was as follows:
“ I don’t know who he is. So I’m not really too concerned about people who comment on me & I don’t know them.”
He says he’s paid to be a savage & sack QBs
How hard is it to A)refuse to comment any further, B) agree to disagree, or C) say that you understand why he was upset, apologize for any confusion, and wish Foles a quick recovery (to his credit, he tacked that last part onto the end of his enlightened response).
Edit: For those that say he was taken out of context, he sounds even worse in the full transcript. He sounded a lot like a child, said he had no intentions of reaching out to Foles, and though he was trying to throw shade at journalists for being critical - he said no one who hasn’t played the game like him has any place judging him. Remember, the question was about how Jeff Saturday, HoF center and Super Bowl champion, criticized him.

My guy literally died twice and might walk out of this relatively unscathed. Amazing.

Adam Schefter reporting just now on Sportscenter that the NFL front office is looking to take interesting changes to these playoffs in the aftermath of what happened on Monday. Suggested plans include putting the AFC Title game on a neutral site since the cancelling of Bills/Bengals from Monday (which hasn't been finalized yet, but seems very likely to be decided that way) involves all 3 of the top AFC teams and their hopes of getting the #1 seed.
Like... I hope they don't make things too complicated or even gimmicky. They should just call the MNF game a draw and go from there, do all the playoff seeding and tiebreakering normally. Why muck things up too much unnecessarily?

Wouldn't something like that have to be collectively bargained?

Wouldn't something like that have to be collectively bargained? So the Patriots get in anyway, only could happen for them.

Why muck things up too much unnecessarily? A neutral site AFCCG would be a giant L. It honestly might be the most fair way to settle things. Kansas City doesn't deserve to be gifted the no. 1 seed, the AFC's lone bye, and home-field advantage because of Monday night's game, when they would have lost a tiebreaker to the Bills, had Buffalo won out. But you can't hand it all to Buffalo because they were losing at the time of the game's pause and would be the no. 2 seed if the MNF game is never finished. And Cincinnati shouldn't have to go into Arrowhead for a playoff game because they also own a tiebreaker over the Chiefs (and hypothetically the Bills, too) and would be 13-4 if the results of Monday night stood and KC somehow lost to Las Vegas on Saturday. Look, it's messy and there's no great answer. But a neutral site equidistant between Kansas City, Buffalo, and Cincinnati would probably be Indianapolis. I think playing the AFC Championship Game there, provided one of those three teams ends up as the host, would result in the least amount of complaining and caterwauling about fairness.

Wouldn't something like that have to be collectively bargained? You'd think so. Just call Monday a tie. Get KC/Buffalo/Cincy on the phone and work out some kind of agreement/understanding on seeding depending on how this weekend plays out. It's still not 100% fair, but it's the easiest and probably least messy option.

I say we have a Lumberjack Survivor Series Match. Josh Allen and his 5 handpicked Bills Players vs Joe Burrow and his 5 handpicked Bengals Players. Winner of the match is winner of the game. The match happens during halftime of the National Championship Game on Monday.
Ring Announcer: Pat McAfee Commentary Team: Eli and Peyton Special Guest Ref: Stone Cold Steve Austin Lumberjacks: All the college football mascots
I'd pay money to see Joe Mixon get thrown to the outside and get in a fistfight with Brutis Buckeye and Herky the Hawk while the Stanford Tree grabs a chair and clubs him over the head.
