Also for the record, f*** Buffalo, expecting all this preferential treatment etc, you all f***ed the Bengals and the Chiefs...there are consequences to your decisions and the NFL literally bending over backwards for the Bills is a sad display and it contradicts the NFL's own rule book. How the f*** did they f*** anyone for a player almost dying? They controlled their destiny on the 1 seed and now they do not. And how in the world did the Chiefs get hurt? They’re getting handed a bye they have not earned. That’s the biggest crime in this scenario. They’re being handed a bye over the two teams that could have caught them. AND BOTH OF THOSE TEAMS BEAT THE f***ING CHIEFS. |

I want to recap everything the Buffalo/The Bills have gone through this year.
Mass shooting in Buffalo.
7 feet of snow dump on stadium
Lose a home game as a result
3 road games in 12 days without being able to practice for a week
Deadly blizzard
Team stuck in Chicago Christmas Eve into Christmas as a result of blizzard
Damar Hamlin sufferers cardiac arrest on the field
Game cancelled/lose control of 1 seed that they earned control of destiny on
Play by Play man John Murphy suffered a stroke this week
This is on top of missing half of their D all year, Hyde having a season ending neck injury, Von Miller tears ACL, Allen hurts his arm and can’t throw right for a month
They’re 12-3 and those 3 losses came by a combined 8 points.
If Sean McDermott isn’t coach of the year for navigating more civic and team related disasters than I’ve ever seen a team have in a year…and having these results…I don’t know why they even have the award.
He didn’t win it for breaking a 17 year playoff drought. He didn’t win it for getting back to the playoffs when Allen was still bad. He didn’t win it when Allen blew up and they dominated 2020.
can there be any argument this man deserves an award they once handed to a Browns coach for finishing third in his own division?
I’ve never seen a year like this for any team/community

And I want to make this PERFECTLY clear. The AFC title game might get played in a neutral site because the decision to cancel the game so unbelievably rewards the Chiefs for a player almost dying on the field that it could not stand.
The game shouldn’t have been canceled. It should have been played next week and the playoffs should have been bumped a week and lose the bye week before the SuperBowl. That way KC isn’t handed the only bye in the conference that they did not control their destiny on. The league decided they didn’t want to mess with the schedule…but they couldn’t just hand KC every goddamned unearned thing in the world. They’re getting handed the most important thing. A week off while the two teams WHO BEAT THEM aren’t allowed to play the same number of games.
It sickens me that they are getting the benefit of the week off they didn’t earn. It’s disgusting. It’s embarrassing. So any take about punishing the Chiefs? Oh my god you have to be kidding me. The title game is only being moved because they were handing the Chiefs too f***ing much

I hate the almost sterile feel of a neutral site big game in the NFL. I'd have gone with a tie and let the chips fall where they may. They would have never gone this route if this had happened in Week 1 or 2, but it would still just be one game regardless of when it happened. They were put in a shitty position but in trying to not have an effect on the playoff picture, they may have had the biggest.

Cincy is mad because they feel like they got jobbed. How do you not do what's in your rulebook the change a rule midseason? It was fine they stopped the game but as soon as Buffalo jetted back home thats either a forfeit or no contest which then diverts to win %. In consequences I mean them deciding they had no interest in picking the game back up. You can care about more than 1 thing at a time. |

Indianapolis won't host the AFC Championship due to a volleyball tournament. Houston has Monster Jam. And the Chargers are in the playoffs. That eliminates your climate controlled venues.
