So Packers want to trade Rodgers That cap hit is massive, who would had thought And it's dead cap. We have to pay no matter what. Niners have to sign an established guy(maybe a couple of them given how things ended). Brady makes the most sense.
Super sucks for Purdy though, he's probably going to lose his shot to be the long term guy because of the injury. Hopefully he can come back 100% at least.

He’s instantly ahead of Lance as Brady’s clipboard holder next season if he recovers. Lance isn’t going anywhere next season because of the cap hit on a trade, but there’s gotta be a very low chance he’s in the long term plans. A awful swing and miss. Those two (Lynch annd Shanahan) are skilled enough to have recovered from a disasterous dice roll though. |

Hey, remember the QB we drafted and pissed off our franchise QB? We don't believe in him at all. So we've traded probably the best QB in our team's history for yet another roll of the dice. Lance still has very high potential, and would be a great low risk option for another team with a change of scenery. But man, I think the Pack would get raked over the coal if they did that deal. |

The Colts. Also the Raiders, Panthers, and Falcons (not to mention teams like the Jets, who are probably too far down the draft for the Bears to trade). With a chance to con the Texans to move up one spot the way the 49ers got the Bears in 2017. But mostly the Colts. Don't remotely buy into the idea of the Jets going with another young QB. Colts sure but with them they may decide they don't have to go to one and are fine with moving to 5 for Levis. I’m not convinced the Texans aren’t going to draft Levis themselves. Ballard will explore trading up, but I’d imagine he’s not likely to offer too much to do so. #4, next year’s 1st, and a conditional pick from 2025? I could see that. Let it all play out and trade back to draft Richardson instead if their preferred choice gets scooped up instead? I also could see that. |

If it has the same recovery time (if not worse) than a pitcher recovering from Tommy John's surgery, then he's going to be gone at least an entire season if not longer. Hopefully this isn't a career ender. |
