He's a complete f***ing scumbag and I'm desperate to see him finally get what he deserves. Shame on all those moron fans cheering for him as he shamelessly popped up on TV in the last month or so. Vince could start off Smackdown tonight and get the same reaction. It’s very disappointing but not surprising, unfortunately.

Like, the consequences for him might not be substantial but at the same time, it’s not going to look great for any company associated with WWE to be themselves associated with someone who has paid a lot of hush money to people he has tried to have his way with. It’s not going to be a massive hit if, say, Netflix or Crunchyroll drop their show ideas but it’ll hurt from a PR standing for WWE’s own intentions. Probably the last we see of John Cena in wwe honestly. As long as Vince stays atleast

Just one thing to note for decency’s sake… The article notes a timeframe for the release of the former female wrestler alleged to have been involved in this, one that makes it unfairly easy to potentially identify who that may be. Unless they themselves give consent to be identified through a reliable and credible source, any discussion about speculating who they may be will be removed and posters may be subject to warnings by moderators. Wouldn’t the female wrestler be breaking her NDA if she says something?

I don't see Vince McMahon leaving because of sexual impropriety. It's WWE. Fans already cheered for him when it happened, the ratings went up, and he already paid off people. More can come forward, and it could change. Not to get too political, but he was the biggest donor and the family worked for a certain someone who had a much longer list than this, and is beloved by ALOT of people. WWE isn't going to get rid of him, they'll use it to make more money. Even if the stock falls, it's just less money, they're still super successful. You think Saudi Arabia or Fox is cutting ties with him over this? They just had record breaking profits for MITB, after the first allegations.
People have always known what WWE is and who owns it and everything he's done over the decades. You saw it in the segments he wrote with young women who's jobs depended on them making out with a 65 year old man. People just ignore it because Bret Hart versus Steve Austin happened.

Probably, but I just didn’t want this thread to go down the road of “If they were released in x year, that means it’s either her, her or her”.

If you would have told me, the biggest threat to Vince’s position of power would be the inability to keep his dick in his pants, I would have said, “yea, no. That makes sense”.

I said this on the first report and I'll say it again here. Someone or some people want him out. He really needs to digest this. This is a bigger story than the first one and the next one will surely be bigger. All of their partners are likely scanning their deals and looking for ways to cut price corners or exit them. Time to go Vince, way overdue, but time to go.

I hate this idea of "oh, it's wrestling, nobody will care and it will blow over." Demand better, both from those in charge and the fans. This isn't just Vince being cheeky Mr. McMahon and living out some fictional fantasies, this is (alleged) sexual harassment that can damage the lives of the women he's targeted.
I don't have confidence that Vince will get what he deserves because that's not how the world works for powerful people like him, but holy shit, let's stop hand waving it away.

You just know that he’s gonna appear tonight Is that just going to be the new m.o? Every time something scandalous comes to light, he awkwardly comes out, doesn’t address it and just leaves?

I loved it when Hardcore Holly fought Shane McMahon at WrestleMania X-7. Who could forget Stone Cold’s iconic starmaking feud with Hardcore Holly?

Do you have a link where you can read it without a subscription? Press the X when it says to subscribe and you can read it no problem. No option for that on my tablet.

Time to go Vince, way overdue, but time to go. All it took was Snickers being notified of the allegations against Moolah for them to not want their name associated with her when that story has literally zero power outside of wrestling circles. This is playing out in The Wall Street Journal. It's not David Bixenspan digging up old skeletons, it's not SRS saying "Check out the Fightful.com Patreon". Hell it's not even TMZ or New York Post running tabloid nonsense. They have 19 Pulitzers and are one of the most well regarded publications in the country, and a top source for business news in particular. People in powerful positions read this, and this escalation does not bode well for them.
