F*** this dude not only for all the stuff coming out, but parading himself out there for weeks, knowing this shit was coming out, and not giving a single shit, just getting his f***ing pops and bows from fans who, frankly, should really be ashamed of themselves if they knew about the initial news. Feeding this man's ego is not worth your self respect. And I hope that further stuff coming out starts giving more diehards some pause, because it's really showing some people's true colors in the wrestling fandom of what they're willing to just not care about.
This isn't getting better for Vince and frankly I'm glad for the way he's been handling it. Karma's a real bitch.

The bill absolutely does not always come due.
Vince absolutely should go down for this as countless men in his kind of position should have, and haven't, even in the last few years.
Most people's accusations don't even come out and many of those that do people ignore or deny or never even hear about.
This is f***ing great, I hope they throw the book at him, and I hope it sets a precedent for people like him not being able to get away with this kind of shit any more
But knowing how reality works I suspect he'll somehow be president within a few years

If things escalate, hopefully we see Vince step down and assuming nothing comes out about them, Stephanie and Triple H can come into actual power.
It’s certainly within the realm of possibilities that this leads to Vince actually being ousted, especially if even more comes out. The Wall Street Journal is legit.
There’s of course also a scenario in which the news/buzz dies down within a few weeks and nothing dramatic happens.

This really exposes how f***ing gutless and empty that 'Vince is stepping down' thing truly is though, because now that there's sexual harassment of wrestlers on the table, it's no longer just "Yeah I'm out of corporate power and have no job leverage over paralegals and their raises but it's fine lemme write the TV show" because he's still got power over a type of contractor he's absolutely exploited and harassed in the past. He's still in power and if they've already unearthed this NDA then they've knowingly accepted letting him stay in control over a facet of the business that gives him authority and the power to punish rejection. It's gross. Vince is gross. All of this shit needs to stop and I hope this is finally his reckoning because he's scum. He's always been scum, and now it's out in the open in ways people can't dance around with denial and the ability to determine tanning methods from taste alone.

I don't see Vince McMahon leaving because of sexual impropriety. It's WWE. Fans already cheered for him when it happened, the ratings went up, and he already paid off people. More can come forward, and it could change. Not to get too political, but he was the biggest donor and the family worked for a certain someone who had a much longer list than this, and is beloved by ALOT of people. WWE isn't going to get rid of him, they'll use it to make more money. Even if the stock falls, it's just less money, they're still super successful. You think Saudi Arabia or Fox is cutting ties with him over this? They just had record breaking profits for MITB, after the first allegations. People have always known what WWE is and who owns it and everything he's done over the decades. You saw it in the segments he wrote with young women who's jobs depended on them making out with a 65 year old man. People just ignore it because Bret Hart versus Steve Austin happened. You’re grossly underestimating the power and reach of The Wall Street Journal and the fact that we live in a different world now. He demoted a woman and fired her after she wouldn’t blow him anymore. That’s vile shit. Way closer to Harvey Weinstein than widower Robert Kraft getting a handy in a spa.

But we’ll see, he may also be the type to only go down kicking and screaming in a blaze of (not) glory.

There is quite a difference between cheering for an angle and seeing something actually happening in reality, let alone in 2022, when the climate is very, very different for this shit.

I think people need to read the article, not just the headline, before commenting. It's not great.

Really makes you wonder how many of the women who've been saddled with prude or body shaming storylines in the past got them because they turned down Vince or Johnny Ace and that was their punishment. Because Unnamed 2005 Release can't possibly be the only one who Vince made moves on, people with laundry lists of hush money settlements always have more that people are too ashamed to come forward with.

Yeah, while he’s certainly not going to dominate the news like a Harvey Weinstein, this is still a legitimate publication covering this with exclusive stories and follow-ups. So I think it’s definitely possible that something comes of this.

Can't go fully into it because politics.
But here in Britain we recently just had a scumbag in a position of power, the highest position of power you can get here, finally have his years of lies and corruption and disgusting behaviour catch up to him and he was forced to resign.
It is possible for people like that to get what's coming to them, we shouldn't just be cynical and write it off from ever happening. That's what people like Vince want.

They need to be constantly knowing where their investments are going. If they’re saying this dude you have shares in is using the money you’re investing to do stuff that’ll blowback on you if you stick around, you aren’t going to stick around. It’s like why WWE and AEW treat it as a big deal to get in Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. The type of people who read those publications are the type of people who are looking for the next big star or investment in entertainment.

The "Vince will never pay the piper" attitude, I think, has come from a general sense that no scandal he's ever gotten into could mean much. They'd get minor play on like B tier publications at best. John Oliver's show running them through mud was neat to see, but his show highlights the unsightly elements of tons of stuff and rarely do calls to action there mean much, it's just awareness unless someone fights back and makes an ass of themselves. It's never broken through in any meaningful way. WWE's mainstream press ends up in publications they have good relations with, to get puff pieces in Variety and stuff. This is new ground.

Well, I guess Vince will be on Smackdown again.
This is not at all surprising but so bad.

I can't embed SRS's tweet due to forum rules but it claims that after his Smackdown appearance, Vince returned backstage and yelled "f*** EM" and that really says it all.
