Definitely watching, if only to see who Danielson picked to replace him to face ZSJ. I'm hesitating between Claudio and Jonathan Gresham. It being "The newest BCC member" makes me lean Claudio, Gresham's already wrestled and wouldn't be a surprise, and is already a member of a faction.

Oh, my bad. I didn't hear the part about it being the newest member of BCC.

I have no clue who the NJPW guys are and they've done a crap job of explaining so I'm gonna sit out this PPV.

Nah not me, just going to wait until the NJPW stuff is over with so AEW could be enjoyable to me again imo. Just don’t care about any of the forbidden door stuff at all

I really, REALLY want to, but my finances took a hard blow this month and I really don't know if I can afford the steeper-than-usual price they're charging for this one.

I was planning on it before Punk's injury. Now I don't really feel like spending another $50 so soon after spending it last month. Sorry, Okada.

Nope. I just can't get in to the Forbidden Door stuff. I tried, but I dont feel like they did. Every big name from New Japan outside of Naito and Ibushi are essentially on this card and AEW had to deal with Punk and Danielson going down, on top of CMLL embargoing Andrade and The Lucha Bros If you can't get into it, sure, but I don't vibe with the "They didn't try", they absolutely tried, and they were thrown a mountain of bullshit to come out with a good card still.

I meant tried as in tried to make me, who has absolutely no idea who the big names from Japan are, care. They didn't introduce them to me in a way that I am invested at all. I posted as much hoping they would a month or so ago, but they just never did. They assumed I knew, I didn't, so I'm excluded from this event. That's fine, it's not a big deal, the AEW faithful probably will know. I'm definitely in the minority. I dont hold it against them, I'm not going to rage quit watching them, this show just isn't for me. And that's ok. It's a shame, as I really wanted them to make it for me, but they didn't. I'll wait until it's over to get back in to AEW.

I'd definitely agree with the idea they haven't tried particularly hard with putting this show together. The injuries have definitely been a problem but that doesn't have anything to do with stuff like throwing together a tag match with no context for who's in it or what was happening beyond a rambling Jericho promo that very poorly communicated it or waiting until the go-home show to actually announce most of the card or wasting time that could've gone toward fleshing out one of the matches for the show on having Moxley beat a battle royal winner instead of just having Mox win the battle royal to free up 20 minutes that could've been used for something else, and they seem to be allergic to giving any context to who anyone from NJPW is past Excalibur yelling about them when they first show up.
I don't think it's a disaster or anything, show will probably do fine, but it's made for a not particularly interesting month of shows. Not been bad shows but it has felt like the entire company's in limbo right now, just kind of waiting to get this speedbump of a show over with before we can get back to shit that actually matters.

Skipping this one as I don't watch Japanese wrestling. Haven't been watching AEW, lately, anyway. The Punk injury kind of deflated me, and I wasn't interested in the build for this PPV.

I would gladly buy it if they'd stop running shows on a f***ing Sunday, i.e. Monday my time, because shows start exactly at 9AM and I'm not interested in paying to watch a show that's already ended. I can get avoiding running on Saturdays if there's a big UFC card or something but they've been doing it for the past few PPVs for basically no reason at all.

Probably not. It was actually the only show I was really hyped about - as I really haven't been feeling anything AEW's done lately - when it was announced and now it all feels like the card's just put together in a cocaine fuelled rush. Might change my mind later on, but now it's just like whatever.

It’s just matching consumer habit at this point. I also would prefer Saturday but I understand why they don’t.

More saying they won’t order than will here. By comparison, the same Double or Nothing poll was 47-25 in favor of ordering.

My finances are shot, I don't think I'm gonna be home anyway & besides that nothing in the build has really grabbed my interest.

I have no clue who the NJPW guys are and they've done a crap job of explaining so I'm gonna sit out this PPV. You're right, if you don't count them literally explaining them every time they've showed up. The fact that the no is beating out yes is wildly dumbfounding. This PPV is giving you the fourway of: Okada vs Jay White vs Adam Page vs Adam Cole. If that alone isn't enough for you then outside of Tony Khan personally servicing you to climax nothing else will do it.
