Found these ratings from last year. Numbers are pretty similar, although the reduced ones are different days of the week:
April 14 - Blood & Guts 1.21 M (0.44) April 21 - 1.1M (0.37) April 28 - 889K (0.33) May 5 - 1.09M (0.42) May 13 - 936K (0.31) May 20 - 821K (0.28) May 28 - 526K (0.20) June 4 - 462K (0.19) June 11 - 487K (0.19) June 18 - 552K (0.20) June 26 - 649K (0.21) June 30 - 883K (0.35) July 07 - 871K (0.33) July 14 - 1.02M (0.40)
Pretty normal when compared to this year. The ratings adjusted back to normal on July 14th so I'm not sure if that's when full crowds started to come back. Also, if I knew how to post screenshotted photos, it would have saved me typing the bloody thing š.

Getting less overall viewers than a weekday College World Series game isn't very promising. I mean WWE gets beaten all the time by FOX News in total viewers but I don't think that is a sign of anything.

Do you actually contribute anything to this forum but concern trolling? You mean you aren't concerned that Dynamite had fewer total viewers than an all-SEC College World Series game?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! The afternoon game wasn't all SEC but none of the teams are in major markets. College baseball is so insignificant in the sports landscape that they don't even have a tab on ESPN's website even though the NBA G league and rugby do.

I meanā¦it isnāt. If it was, Raw would have been axed years ago. In no way does that make sense but yes Fox News getting more total viewers than anything on cable is certainly meaningful.

I'm loath to play these mindgames with you, but the primetime game was Arkansas/Ole Miss which is as all-SEC as all-SEC can get. Texas A&M is, quite literally, the biggest brand in college athletics and is making its first College World Series run in nearly 30 years. I grant you that College Station, TX is not a major market, but Texas A&M fans and alumni is. Also, it's baseball. We're really doing some mental gymnastics to try and say that the viewership of College World Series games has any bearing on Dynamite's ratings whatsoever. NCAA Baseball doesn't have its own tab on ESPN's website because it falls under the "College Sports" tab, with all of the other non-basketball and football "college sports." Call me ignorant, but I don't think ESPN considers postseason collegiate baseball less significant than rugby and the G League, considering, you know, that ESPN proper airs CWS games, and you have to scroll to the very end of the ESPN+ homepage to watch cricket or rugby. But, what do I know? AEW is dying, folks. These NJPW nerds can't even outdraw a Texas A&M/Oklahoma baseball game. The horror! The horrrrrooorrrr!!!!!!!!!!

You said itās meaningful that Fox News is getting more viewers than Raw is meaningful. I said it wasnāt because if that was the barometer, Raw dropping viewers for the past decade plus would have resulted in it being axed. But the fact is, Fox Newsā demo gets the people they want and USA with Raw, one of the Top 10 ranked shows on a Monday on a consistent basis in 18-35, gets the demo it needs. Which, factually, is more important than viewership and why itās still there. And AEW getting #1 in that demo on a Wednesday is way more important to networks than viewerships because, well, networks brag about that stuff all the time.

In no way does that make sense but yes Fox News getting more total viewers than anything on cable is certainly meaningful. What does it mean? It means the closest thing to a ācultural zeitgeistā is based around politics and the constant news cycle thereof, something that wrestling canāt really utilise (and honestly SHOULD NOT go near with a hundred foot pole) for their own benefit.

It means the closest thing to a ācultural zeitgeistā is based around politics and the constant news cycle thereof, something that wrestling canāt really utilise (and honestly SHOULD NOT go near with a hundred foot pole) for their own benefit. And also that older people are inclined to just leave their televisions on "the news" 24/7. I'll steer clear of the overtly political discussion of why that benefits FOX in particular. But cable news overall viewership has no bearing whatsoever on the relative popularity or success of non-news cable television shows.

I don't see this as anything to worry about. They're number one, they're fine. Now, if they're hovering around the same point next week when I think the major sports competition is done and they have two of their biggest stars - including quite likely the champion - in a gimmick match that's been built up for months then maybe there might be some room for doom and gloom but for now, it's no big deal.

You must be an A&M grad because in no way is A&M even close to being the biggest brand in college athletics. I actually went to Clemson. A&M is literally the biggest brand in college athletics, at least as far as that's quantifiable. Easiest metric is the value of the football program. You're welcome to Google that.
