The R rated cut of Galaxy Quest. Isn't it literally just slight dubbing of "f***" and a topless shot of Weaver Details are sketchy, but according to one of the making of documentaries there was a lot more bad language beyond the dubbed-out F-bomb, a sex scene between Tony Shalhoub and Missi Pyle's characters, and more graphic deaths.

The Christine Chubbock footage (I'm fascinated by the woman and her tragedy) saying this, I'm not sure I'd watch it. The audio is out there however. I had no idea about the alleged audio surfacing. Wow, was that a much deeper rabbit hole than I was expecting to go down tonight. Most logical theory I read that, if it is real, it's a recording from the records of a police station who made a recording of the audio for crime documeting / direct quoting at the time and it was stumbled upon again with records and such being recently digitized. I didn't listen to it myself, actual death is the line I personally don't feel comfortable crossing, but the saga surrounding this is super fascinating.

In 2013, WWE uploaded Bret Hart vs. Shawn Michaels from Survivor Series 1997. What isn't on the network, the last time I looked is the footage after Shawn goes through the tunnel in the back. You have the extended no commentary of Bret standing in the ring. Talking to Owen, Anvil and Davey. Goes around to slap all the fans hands. Destroys the TV's. Does one last salute on the corners. Does "WCW" with the fingers and waives goodbye. The extended cut of the match. Haven't seen it again. So, I've recently acquired a commercial WWF VHS from the late 90s called "The Best of Survivor Series 87-97" whose box promises "never before seen footage of Bret Hart after the match." When I watch it later this weekend/next week, I'll take a look at it and let you know if this is it.

Yeah it's the police transcript recording if it's real. I'm sure the report that was online about the incident had a mention of the cops having exactly that too but nobody ever really brought it up until people tried to figure out whee this had come from, and suddenly it was like an "oh it might be this" moment.

Yeah, Nexpo recently posted his darkest lost media video and it raised in a question in my head: What qualifies for "media" that is fair game to be searched for. Like Christine Chubbock and R. Budd Dwyer (the footage is not lost, I use Dwyer as another person killed themselves on live tv) was broadcast on television so I would consider it "media". I'm not sure I'd watch that, but stuff like the infamous Saki Sanobashi I'd be more open to watching. Although I feel like Saki Sanobashi was a prank and doesn't actually exist. However, Nexpo talks about one case where this guy had cameras around his house recording his crimes and wouldn't consider that media as it was never intended for broadcast. The Christine Chubbock audio is in the video but cut off before the gunshot. Anyways, this got pretty dark and I'm sorry to others who meant the thread for a more pleasant experience.

Having been on a Mythbusters kick recently (and as a big Mythbusters fan based on my ye olde avatar pic), something that I would love to see is the lost footage from the "Breakfast Cereal" myth. Said myth was about the cardboard box from a breakfast cereal having more nutritional value than the cereal itself. There was a whole segment where they tested the theory with lab rats, where one group was fed regular pellets, one group was fed sugary cereal, and the last group was fed cardboard. Said experiment was left to run a few days and over the weekend. When they came back from the weekend, there was a bit of a surprise. The cardboard group, instead of there being three mice, there was one really fat alive mouse and the remains of two dead mice. Adam Savage had shown a rough cut of the footage to a couple colleges (which the students loved) before Discovery told him "Dude, do not show that footage again." I believe Adam still has the footage somewhere and I would like to see it as it sounds morbidly hilarious. That is an entirely predictable outcome when you are using mice. They are very prone to cannibalism. In fact, when we were experimenting on young mice parts (we euthanized them, harvested tissue, then kept the tissue alive for cancer drug experiments) we simply bought pregnant mice with the requirement that the mothers had to on their 2nd or 3rd litter only (any more and the breeding yields fewer babies and 1st time mothers have a really high propensity to eat their newborns).

Not that she did not look amazing in the movie, but she had more than enough clout to say, "Okay perv, we don't need to do that for this particular film so we won't be doing so."

Bruh, I just wish they'd do a new dub for it. It's ridiculous that they've dubbed like everything but ZZ. Absolutely it needs a new one. It should absolutely be a priority for every Gundam series to get official dubs, but doubly so for Universal Century entries. At least it didn't take like 15 years to even get a dub like Turn A. Even worse, you could be a Macross fan.

Vaguely reminds me... Vicious Vincent's World of Wrestling. Vince Russo's radio program from the early '90s. All I have of it now was the (since pulled) YouTube audio reel of people prank calling him. Used to have a snippet on a long lost cassette too. And on THAT note, Radio WWF broadcasts. Now I DID find the one for Rumble 94 where JR and Monsoon call the action, but only the first two matches. Can you link to said Rumble 94 radio version? That's fascinating. Edit: Found it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-cWtvOBvVM

I want to hear all of Chris Farley's dialogue he recorded for Shrek edited together with the final audio tracks from the rest of the cast and synced up with the final version of the movie (and / or storyboard footage). I know some of Chris' audio leaked a few years ago but I want to hear everything.

I know some of Chris' audio leaked a few years ago but I want to hear everything. Considering what I've heard about Farley's interpretation of the character and the script changes Myers demanded when he came on board, I really have my doubts that they could just sync up the audio with the actually completed movie and it would work. I wouldn't be against them actually animating a new movie around the Farley dialogue though. Yeah, it would cost more money, but I think if they outsourced it to the right studio (maybe do it in traditional 2D cell animation instead of CGI) they could put together something relatively quick and relatively cheap to showcase this earlier version and still make a profit with it.

Another print example...
There was a mini comic inside Toyfare or Wizard, where the Superfriends took on the (90s) Justice League (yes, 90s, including Blue Superman). Can't seem to locate it anywhere.
Website:
Yetimania (yes devoted to the YET-TAY from WCW. For that matter, the WCW Live episodes where the webmaster called in and annoyed Mark Madden by asking about the Yeti).
More print:
The game cards for the Family Feud A&P game/contest from the early '80s. I've found references to the contest on Newspapers.com, but actual game pieces? Nope.
Now here's a big print memory for me, yet I can't find anything on it. It was some kind of Spider-Man comic, it was for younger readers but I am not sure it was Spidey Super Stories. It featured a toned down version of the origin, as in it mentions how Spider-Man got his powers but AFAIK didn't mention the Uncle Ben part. But it also had a feature not unlike Spider-Ham called "SPIDER-PLANT: The hero who grows on you".

Speaking of lost websites, X-Entertainment.com and it's short lived spinoff X-Wrestling.com. X-E later became Dinosaur Dracula but the X-E archives are all gone (and I wouldnt reccomend typing those sites into google, for obvious reasons). Scoopthis.com was another one I miss. INCREDIBLY Dated by 2022 standards but there was some gold there (Adventures of the NWO B-team comes to mind).

Something I wish I had: the old Grandstand posts on AOL's message boards. Included different wrestlers' folders. One such folder was for ECW, and I SWEAR that I mentioned that Stevie and the Meanie should do the "Blue World Order" months before it actually happened. (this was when they did the Two Dudes with Attitudes, so I had that in mind) If I could prove that, it would be worth digging it from the internet afterlife.

The Jake Roberts DDT on Hogan which happened on the Snake Pit, and according to Jake lead to “DDT” chants. I think it aired in some local market but it’s amazing that after all these years it’s never surfaced. Always wanted to see that.

The deleted and extended scenes from event horizon. Also it may have been released and I missed it but the original ending to Friday the 13th part 3 I watched this again last Saturday night at work. Aside from dripping with those 90's film making accents that were all over ever genre, knowing the story surrounding it's production makes wish this movie could have been fully restored and retouched. Imagine Event Horizon filmed like Alien.

I am now wondering if that Batman 2 article I mentioned near the beginning of the thread could have been one of New York's "square" newspapers and not a tabloid. The Post especially seems the type.
