Seriously. Like, it can definitely be a powerful tool for promotion, but even ones who are good at leveraging it for their careers like Jordynne Grace still often end up having to take time away from it when abuse gets too bad. I feel like Jordynne does as good a job as anyone at combating the idiots, but I'm sure it gets to be overwhelming at times. I mean, CM Punk said it best — hurt people hurt people. When you feel bad about yourself and what you've done in life, it's a lot easier to feel better by firing off an epic Twitter dunk than unpacking your own traumas and deficiencies.

I don't blame her for getting off of Twitter. Social media as a whole can really f*** with one's mental state. It's always good to take a step back from it.

Shotzi's botches kinda added to the match in a way.
Also, if MITB was my first show ever as a fan, she stood out 5he most in the match.

As well as losing both her father and step-father, she was in one of those YouTube chiropractor videos a few months ago talking about how she was in so much pain she couldn’t even crawl the next day after a match. I think it’s probably one of those situations where she physically and mentally needs a break from wrestling, but wrestling is also the main thing keeping her going right now.
Also, I have questions about how the Twitter algorithm works. On the last tweet she posted, the first comments I saw were both incredibly negative, and yet neither of them were the newest comments, neither had much engagement (no likes/retweets) and they were from profiles with next to no followers and random pictures as the profile pic. Why show those comments instead of the newest, most popular or from a verified or popular user?

Why show those comments instead of the newest, most popular or from a verified or popular user? This is gonna sound like a criticism towards WWE and I don't mean it to be so I want to be clear there (also dont mean it as a criticism to Shotzi) but that cut throat environment isn't for everybody. Miro had Paul Wight on his twitch stream a year ago and they talked about how WWE was an environment where you had to get used to "eating shit and liking it" but saying it went all the way up to Vince as well. Some people can thrive in that environment or don't see it as a big deal. Others will struggle. So hopefully Shotzi gets the break she needs? I know where I work we had old management that had the same mindset and when the new CEO took over he's taken steps to change that but even then it's hard. As for bullies on twitter? It's disappointing so many people have to be so over over top cruel because they can by anonymous
