If Jay White is officially leaving New Japan in a few weeks, his company decision just got a f***ton easier to choose... If this was a moral decision and not a business decision then maybe. AJ and Finn have done just fine financially, I’d suspect. AEW‘s got Juice Robinson on Dark Elevation mingling with Dark Order, so things aren’t perfect there either.

I mean, sure… but it’s also Juice Robinson. He’s not exactly a money act.

Dude, Jay White is a much, MUCH bigger deal than Juice Robinson is, and always has been. White's not gonna be on DARK if he signs there, and even if he is, he'd be getting match reps and probably working dudes for tryout purposes. White's worked STRONG and Impact, he's worked smaller crowds, he's good at it.

I imagine if AEW signed Jay White they'd probably immediately slot him into the sorts of things they were doing with Adam Cole.

My point is that AEW isn’t perfect at utilizing folks either, and it may not be a slam dunk that somebody goes AEW over WWE until we actually know what’s going on. If we’re sitting here and everybody is gone but Vince in a week, then sure. Didn’t mean to take us off track.

And I mean, Cole got multiple world title matches And a feud with MJF would be very interesting, a lot of people have wanted to see them have a promo off for some time But Jay could relatively make most anything work, the idea I'd see is sign with AEW and kinda wait to see what WWE becomes, even if it's three years he's only 30

I would think White's one of the dudes who would go in and be an immediate upper card threat because he'd been in his few times in AEW already He wouldn't have to immediately go for a world title either, if he beat Cassidy for the AAC for example, I'd consider it a big deal and an immediate impact. All depends on what they do but there are a ton of matches on the AEW table if you get Jay White as a full time competitor. This was coinciding with the Vince news, who knows if it will impact signings, who knows if multiple wrestlers won't ask for a release in the next few days...

Interesting. Makes me wonder if from the beginning when he stepped down and she stepped in that this was the arrangement they made. That if Vince was able to come back in, she’d step down. Especially with the board vote being unanimous and Triple H being on that board. Think Triple H might be next.

I wonder what Cody Rhodes thinks of all this?
Working for Vince at this point and time probably doesn’t sit well with Cody when it comes to his morals which he takes seriously.

Well when he returned he was still Vince booked, but I assume the prospect of working with HHH was enticing, but now he's sat out the entire HHH run with Vince gone due to his pec injury, so I can't imagine it's been good for most wrestlers booking morale outside of a select few that Vince booked as near unstoppable.

The shamelessness of Vince Mcmahon to force himself back into power knowing nobody wants him there is just astounding.
I cannot imagine going in to work every day knowing everyone there hates me and wishes I was gone, and just not giving a f***. Knowing things were better off without you and people were happier with you gone, but returning anyway.
The selfishness of these sorts of people, it's like they're a different species.

What he actually thinks is I own all of this and these people, this is all here because of me.

At this point I wouldn't be shocked if Paul Levesque just starts covertly directing talent down south.

To think just a few days ago we were all relishing the prospect of our first VKM-free Royal Rumble.

Rumble to Mania is the most important time of the year for the company both commercially and critically it surely speaks poorly to potential buyers that Vince couldn’t wait a few months instead of jeopardizing such a crucial part of the calendar.
