I could see this "monster news" being HHH leaving. Vince is already where he wants to be and why wouldn't he just take back control over Creative instead of letting someone else do it?

If that was the case, then she would have voted for him to return last month, no? Not if they agreed to it happening at the start of 2023. If they agreed to 2023, he would have waited the month. This whole thing reeks of somebody having enough and exercising power. I don’t think this was some McMahon family coup or agreement or something. |

Rumble to Mania is the most important time of the year for the company both commercially and critically it surely speaks poorly to potential buyers that Vince couldn’t wait a few months instead of jeopardizing such a crucial part of the calendar. Rumble to Mania is also Vince's baby, so regardless of sales talks I have hard time thinking he'd leave his hands out of it. If he's taking creative back it'll be now, not months down the line |

Just heard the news and frankly it's disappointing. Even with her faults, Steph was a huge influence in WWE, and her resigning only spells bad news. I'm definitely not feeling hopeful for WWE right now which is sad for wrestling as a whole.

It seems like a really damning demonstration of how utterly f***ing broken the entire concept of the stock market is that the company is in a current state of giant upheaval where no one knows day-to-day who's running what while a rapist muscles his way back into power while pushing out people who everyone involved prefers working with and the response is just, "Yes, yes, he said sale, he said sale, keep buying, keep buying!" If the market were actually in any way about a company's value then you'd think that making moves that are just going to attract negative PR and piss off the TV networks they count on to survive then things would be tanking right now but instead a bunch of useless old assholes who do nothing but get paid to exist are going to get richer and richer from it.
