*I've mentioned some of the stuff I have from time to time, and have talked about putting it all together in a post for everyone to see if they were interested. Well, it's not the full collection. I'm still pulling stuff out of storage, so some things I know I don't have pics of is a signed copy of "The World According to Dutch" by Dutch Mantell, Bobby Heenan's signature on the cover of an AWA program, and a collection of photos from Southeastern Championship Wrestling in the late '70s that were either taken or purchased by my aunt that were given to me before her death, some of which were signed by the likes of the Fullers, Jimmy Golden, local legend Ron Wright, and others. Most signatures were acquired in person. I'll try to make note if they weren't. First, 8x10s Nikita Koloff Ricky Steamboat. This was acquired through the promoter of the old NWA Legends Fanfest Bret Hart. Acquired via promoter of NWA Legends Fanfest Bruno Sammartino and Ivan Koloff. Acquired via promoter of NWA Legends Fanfest. The Assassin, Jody Hamilton. Acquired via promoter of NWA Legends Fanfest. Bobby Heenan WCW Promo. Acquired via Ebay, but signature matches ones obtained in person. Having dinner with Ole and Lars Anderson at NWA Legends Fanfest 2011 in Atlanta, signed by Lars. That's me on the far right with the gray suit. Bobby Heenan and Nick Bockwinkel, acquired from memorabilia company with COA "Dirty" Dutch Mantell General Skandar Akbar. I also had dinner with him that weekend, but no photo table was taken for some reason. He passed away about 2 weeks later. Jim Cornette and Bobby Heenan This was pretty cool, as it's signed as both Percy Pringle III and Paul Bearer. Billy Robinson I wanted to get this signed by Bruno and Heenan as well, but only managed to get Dory Funk Jr. The original Hollywood Blondes, Jerry Brown and Buddy Roberts, with Sir Oliver Humperdink Rocky Johnson Dan "The Beast" Severn Jerry Brown Bob Caudle. One of the nicest people I have ever met. Dutch Mantell and Bob Caudle, early SMW announce team. Joe Blanchard Joe Blanchard Tommy Seigler, '70s territory star Tommy Seigler. The signature on the left was acquired by my aunt in the '70s. The one on the right was acquired by me about 30 years later. Freebird Buddy Roberts Jack Brisco "Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Great guy, I have nothing but positive things to say about him. Magnum TA Ric Flair Abdullah the Butcher Bugsy McGraw Danny Hodge. He was awesome, and loved meeting the fans. Jackie and Don Fargo. Jackie was still incredibly charismatic. Don thought I was throwing gang signs in our photo op. Lance Russell and Dave Brown, Memphis announce team. Magnum TA "Purple Haze" Mark Lewin and Kevin Sullivan Toru Tanaka and Mr. Fuji, signed by Fuji Ole Anderson Ole Anderson Oliver Humperdink Ox Baker Paul Jones and Ivan Koloff Signed by Bobby Heenan Signed by Tully Blanchard Tommy Young I'll add some more later, it's about 2 a.m. here. I've got books, magazines, programs, DVDs, photo op prints, gear & random memorabilia, and a few posters.

Not a lot of stories behind the 8x10s, as most of them were purchased from Fanfest or the wrestler’s gimmick table.
Probably the most interesting one is the photo of Kevin Sullivan and the Purple Haze. To my knowledge, Mark Lewin had not appeared at a convention before and hasn’t since, and I had heard little about him personally besides his friend Gary Hart calling him “a strange bird.”
I saw that longtime Florida photographer Duane Long was selling prints, and along with a few others (The Hollywood Blondes being the one that stands out), I bought the pic of Sullivan & Lewin.
When I handed it to Lewin, he just stared at it for a few seconds, then stared at me for a few seconds, then back at the picture, completely stone faced. Finally, he quietly asked, “Are they selling these here?”
I answered, “I got it from Duane Long.” Lewin’s total demeanor changed. He excitedly said, “I should have known it was Duane’s, look at the detail in the folds of the robe!,” and showed it to Abdullah the Butcher.
I don’t know if he had an agreement with the convention about which pictures they sold or what, but for a bit, he did not seem happy.
It’s been a very busy day, but I’ll have some more stuff up later.

Pretty cool. I have a Goldberg photo like the Heenan one, that my uncle got me through a memorabilia dealer. Years later, after my uncle got sick, that same dealer went to the trouble of getting a specially signed photo of Steve Corino, that personally addressed my uncle and wished him well. I got it checked and it really was Corino who signed it, so as far as I'm concerned, Corino is aces, too.

Man that's awesome. I've got a few signatures.
A toy WWF belt signed by Mick Foley. A copy of Dustin Rhodes book. Signed by him. And a copy of Harley Races book signed by him that my mom got me.
I've got a few of the signed WWE 2K special edition memorabilia as well. The Hogan picture. The piece of Flairs robe and the piece of the ring when Cena beat AJ.
OH I almost forgot I have, somewhere, a signed PWI 500 with John Cena on the cover. He was awesome at the signing.

What strikes me with the Encyclopedia especially is how many of them have since passed away.
Angelo Mosca, Bobby Heenan, Chief Jay Strongbow, Dick Slater, Don Kernodle, Harley Race, Howard Finkel, Ivan Koloff, Jimmy Snuka, Kamala, Larry Hennig, Mae Young, Mr. Wrestling II, Nikolai Volkoff, Ron Bass, Pampero Firpo, The Patriot, Paul Bearer, Paul Orndorff, Rocky Johnson, Roddy Piper, Sir Oliver Humperdink, and Vader have all passed since then.

Thanks sir. I knew your collection was huge.
Most of my wrestling 8x10s are modern deep south indie talent. But I got a few people here would have heard of.
Tracy Smothers-Him and Armstrong from WCW. Got it off Tracy second time we met him. Was a Wrestle Birmingham show. Same one that Tracy came out during a match sat at the commentary table with us for a match. Amazingly nice and humble dude. He remembered us for 2 years before but couldn't remember names. Just what general area we were from.
Tim Storm-His NWA Powerrr 8x10. Got this off Tim last Natchez BIW event he worked.Somewhere's I got an older one from when he was NWA North American Champion.
Kaun-Got this off him right before ROH shut down.He worked the BIW show in Natchez Tim was at.
Caleb Konley-One of his Impact pics. Got this off him first BIW event he worked.
Ace Austin-Last West Monroe BIW event Ace worked it.So grabbed this one.
Alex Gracia-This is her Stardom pic. Got this a few years back when she worked a tag at a Brookhaven BIW show.
Once I get all my pics down off hte walls I will get pics.

I kept meaning to get something else and a photo op as an adult, but where he worked around here so much, I fell into the trap of, “I’ll get him next time,” until I ran out of next times. I’ve got quite a bit more to post, it’s just been busy the last few days. I’m hoping to post some more before the weekend is over.

See with Tracy,we met him Labor Day weekend 2015. He was a surprise run in the main event.
After the show saw Tracy out in the casino and grabbed a fast pic with him. But my buddy didn't check the pic and it is so blurry it looks like that Infamous Loch Ness Monster pic.
So about 2 years later when we knew Tracy would be at the Wrestle Birmingham event the plan was getting one of him and I infront of JP's portable backdrop. But as I said Tracy came out of the dressing room and joined us on Commentary. So I snapped a pic of him and I at the table.
Looking forward to seeing more of your collection sir.

A quick update, but some of my favorite items. Poster from NWA Legends Fanfest 2008. Signed by Jack Brisco, Precious, "Nightmare" Ted Allen, Jimmy Garvin, Paul Jones, Rip Hawk, Sir Oliver Humperdink, Rock Riddle, Sam Houston, Tommy Young, Bill White, Rocky Kernodle, Bob Caudle, Mike Jackson, Sandy Scott, and Tommy Angel. Poster of the original Four Horsemen, signed by all 5. This was signed at the only Horsemen reunion Ole took part in. Poster of the Barry Windham lineup of the Four Horsemen, signed by all 5. Not the best photos in the world, and I know I could take better ones. But I had these already, and it means I can post some more stuff a little faster.

I was able to get Christian to call my brother, a dork, in a picture I got for him. While he gave me a nice message lol. Edge is awesome, too, and John Cena.
I have met a lot of nice people. My only negative experience was with Batista, and that may have just been a bad day for him. I think hilarious. 🙂

Here's one of my favorite items - Bobby Heenan's Prime Time sweatshirt, autographed. Here's a couple of fairly unique items - checks from Smoky Mountain Wrestling, signed by Jim Cornette and the wrestler. Robert Fuller (Welch) Ron Wright, east Tennessee legend who showed up in SMW as a manager in a wheelchair asking for donations. This guy was awesome. Replica Assassin mask, signed Replica Bullet Bob Armstrong mask, signed Replica "Nightmare" Ted Allen mask, signed Replica Patriot mask, signed Replica Mr. Wrestling 2 mask, signed Ring worn tie, signed by Jim Cornette. I think he was selling these for $3 a pop just to get rid of them. Soviet flag, signed by Ivan Koloff and Nikolai Volkoff
