For the Canadians out there, is being part of the Canadian Stampede a big deal? The Calgary Stampede is a really big deal, so for AEW to be a part of the even is not for nothing.

Missed opportunity not to write Calgary, Alberta as Calgary....Alberta.... Canada. 😜 Doesn't really work...unless this is the guy saying it I would love to see Lance Storm show up at one of these shows, if just to ask why Moxley and Hangman hate each other, he still doesn't know

For the Canadians out there, is being part of the Canadian Stampede a big deal? The Calgary Stampede is the largest rodeo in the world, and is usually a massive, multi-day affair. So yeah, kind of a big deal.

Being part of the Stampede along with the rich wrestling history of Calgary makes that a really nice tie-in. I don't think AEW is ever going to do another Owen Hart memorial tournament, but having an event in his hometown during the Stampede would be a good opportunity to have a segment in his honor.

Well, definitely trying to figure out plans to go see some of the western shows. Forbidden Door II and the Hamilton shows are completely off the table, Edmonton too due to timing. But the Stampede show and one of the Saskatchewan shows is very attainable.
Hitting both Saskatchewan shows could be difficult, 6 hours up to Saskatoon, 3 hours back to Regina (which would be a cool venue to watch a TV taping at) and then 7 hours to Calgary? Yikes. That’s a lot, I’ll probably hit Saskatoon, then head to my sisters in Calgary to hit House Rules

Man, I've been planning a return trip to Canada for awhile; I took semi-regular trips to the Toronto area and Montreal before the pandemic, and obviously haven't had the chance to do that since 2020. I definitely want to do Forbidden Door, but that's also during a week I'm supposed to travel to Vegas with a couple of friends...which means I might plot out flying from New Jersey to Vegas, then from Vegas to Toronto, then Toronto back to Jersey, all assuming I can grab Forbidden Door tickets when they post up on sale next week.
Needless to say, this is not my most well thought-out plan!

Ended up with 100s (first section of seats above the floor) for Forbidden Door for about $200 each.
Can’t wait.

I think there are quite a few matches on this card we're gonna see that didn't happen last show for various reasons Danielson vs ZSJ, Darby vs Hiromu, Naito vs RUSH or tagging with RUSH I feel like Omega vs Ospreay II might be a huge selling point for this PPV. And then you have Okada and Tanahashi you could find something to do with. I really wanna see Hangman vs Tanahashi personally, because of how Tana has been so outspoken about wanting to help Hangman. Maybe Ricky Starks vs KENTA or David Finlay with how the Bullet Club thing is shaking? And then there's the Minoru Suzuki vs Orange Cassidy match we still haven't gotten...

If I don’t end up heading to Vegas for International Fight Week, I’ll have to find a way to grab tickets for the Edmonton show.

Anyone have the presale codes to the Canada shows? Forbidden Door is already on sale, and basically sold out, but I haven’t seen any codes for the other shows

Got two tickets in the 300s; damn, these things have gone fast, and not cheaply, either.
