Been a Mizfit since almost the beginning. Glad he is starting to get the recognition he deserves for being such a loyal hardworking dude.

I'll admit I wasn't a fan during his initial main event push circa 2010-2011. It felt forced and I thought his promos were cringe.
But now? I have so much respect for him. He's really grown on me. An invaluable asset to WWE as a pure sports entertainer. It's kind of amazing how people still use the argument that "he came from reality TV" as a way to not take him seriously.

Miz rocks. I always got salty when people bashed him, and I’m glad more and more people realize what he brings to the table.

He plays a really good smarmy dickbag heel on TV, but seems like an absolute sweetheart of a man out of kayfabe. As far as him being a face goes, him as a face I think only works like once and a while (maybe him being a face for a year between two long heel runs) unless you count his reality show. His last face run was going well… right up until they just had him job to Shane McMahon a whole bunch.

Exactly, that promo he cut on Shane and Vince was fire, especially when he did that microphone flip like he was firing a gun.

Dude is a legend
Been a Miz fan ever since he was USA champ and changed theme to his current one
I think it was the same day when he and Maryse had a promo in French and she was just giving him THOSE EYES

We always complain about heels who turn face not giving you reasons to invest in them as faces. Well, this one had Miz acknowledge who he is and what he's done at times, while making you WANT to cheer him. It was perfect. It was everything his first face run wasn't. Then he not only lost to Shane twice, but looked like a total f***ing doofus while doing so. Then proceeded to do nothing until turning heel again because any momentum he had was squashed. It's why I get stabby when people tell me "Oh, Miz simply doesn't work as a face". He does work, he was making it work, then creative gonna creative...

No shit he is.
He does have his periods for me when I’m tired of his character and feel he is getting a bit stale but always respected his talent. One of the best on the mic and one of the best personality’s WWE has. As a face of the company he is invaluable. And in the ring he has always been better than he gets credit for.

I felt for the 1st couple years of the smackdown live era he should have had a run as wwe champion. He & AJ were carrying that show and he deserved it but they decided to have him lose to Ziggler. He never really touched that level again.

In the ring, I respect the hell out of the guy for how hard he works even if his matches won't ever be classics, because he clearly loves what he does. Out of kayfabe and doing media stuff, I respect the hell out of the guy for his commitment to the grind. Backstage, I respect the hell out of the guy for persevering through an absolutely garbage system that tried to break his spirit but who never became an embittered old man who turned that bile back onto anyone else like so many others did. Miz is a good dude, he's good at what he does, and he can keep me entertained doing it. Dude's work ethic is through the roof, and you know it is because Bryan Danielson, a man who said he doesn't like training because nobody takes shit as seriously as he does, sings the guy's praises non-stop for his work ethic. That's as big an endorsement as you can get.
People thought he was a reality TV idiot trying to get fame through wrestling, when all along he was a pro wrestling idiot trying to use reality TV to jump his way into the notice of WWE.

Miz has done more than enough in this biz that I’d actually like to see him be the one to take out Roman.
A taking a beat down and not giving up and finally winning could be the biggest pop Miz will hear and it would be totally deserved.

He never really touched that level again. He was easily the MVP of the brand for those years. Nobody would have batted an eye if he won the title. Had KofiMania not happened, Face Miz taking down Bryan would have f***ing ruled

Have no problem with him as a performer, but his character is incredibly tedious for my tastes.

The last person to actually win a feud with Roman Reigns? The Miz, when he won back his IC title from Roman at RAW 25. There is actually some logic to it, but it needs to be Roman picking the fight, because Roman wants to get his win back, have him NEED to prove that point by crushing Miz.

I truly think miz is the best sports entertainer of a generation. Not the best pro wrestler
