I didn't mind Sheamus losing because it was a good match and I thought maybe that was the price to pay to have Drew win. But the more I think about it, the more it feels like a heel PPV on purpose.
Sheamus loses and does a "well, I tried, thanks folks!" post-match commiseration bit and soaks up huge applause.
Drew loses (because of the Uso nobody cares about) and does a "well, I tried, thanks folks!" speech (and a singalong).
Edge gets kicked in the nuts by the Mysterio nobody cares about.
Riddle loses because... reasons? I'll give them that one though, the crowd was super hot for Seth.
I dunno, it just feels like the same old spite booking that drove a lot of us away.
Edit: The biggest ball dropped was the confiscated beach ball. Star of the night was that one random bird that got "let's go pidgeon!" chants.

The ending made it feel like it was basically a nothing show; nothing more than a glorified house show where nothing of any value happened and it ended with a weird sing song.

Watched whole show today after only catching last two matches live yesterday. Genuinely a very good show, but WWE REALLY need to learn that its OK for faces to win more than they lose at big events. Sheesh.

The ending made it feel like it was basically a nothing show; nothing more than a glorified house show where nothing of any value happened and it ended with a weird sing song. The ending felt like something out of those UK-only PPVs like Rebellion or Insurrextion where nothing really major happened on the show. Not sure if they could draw a crowd like that again in the UK after Saturday.

so i read pages 120 to 125 ... SC-ALT-CHIO!!! hard hitting, fascinating, brutal AND FUN!!! apart from the ending though i mean THERE'S NO SINGING AT WRESTLING!!! but what a weird selection of songs, don't look back in anger i liked though, they should have brought everyone out the back to do a turn ... pity kross didn't jump in and flatten drew ... but i guess we already had a FATALITY!!! loved everything, loads of heel wins (welcome back bailey to the UK), edge getting cleaved like deputy nick, also by a troglodyte (be serious, dominics hairstyle belongs in the freaking stone age!), beginning to love livs title run and cheered her a lot at the end rollins and riddle was okay i guess ...YES I SAID THAT ... but it's the big slappy happy matches that were just fantastic, sheamus and gunther just lumping each other from bell-to-bell, and the big irish getting a awesome sending away and then the big one ... drew out that entrance a lot, but once they got going it was back and forth back and forth, they kept the audience enthralled ... AND HERE COMES THEORY TO CASH IN ... and there GOES theory with being just ballooned by tyson FISTY!!! pretty sure they're finding bits of brain still on the floor both reigns and mcintyre put on a hell of a show, and with one more surprise in the bag and you try and belt out a tune when you've went ten bruising rounds in front of a raucous crowd more than welcome back anytime WWE

Unless something very interesting happens between now and next time they come to the UK, I'll definitely think twice about going. This was my first event, and although I expected "same old", I had hope that the HHH regime might give us something to really buy into, to send us home happy, and I would be pleasantly surprised. He didn't take that opportunity. I wasn't madly disappointed in the result because it's what I expect from WWE, but I was a little disappointed that I found myself thinking "well, I guess I'm not back to enjoying WWE then". They blew the chance (that I paid money to watch them take) that I most expected to show me how I can enjoy WWE again.

Future shows will be interesting. They could get away with such high ticket prices as a one-off but if it's more regular and the cost of living crisis continues I'm not sure they can again.

The ending made it feel like it was basically a nothing show; nothing more than a glorified house show where nothing of any value happened and it ended with a weird sing song. So according to WON, Drew McIntyre didn't know that the show was still going live when him and Tyson Fury did the sing song.
