I'm at work during this, but I will try to watch what I can. The shows since SummerSlam that I've seen have been really fun and I'm excited to see most of these matches

Why is the card so small?

Why is the card so small? They’ve been keeping a lot of the PPVs to 3 hours max so a 6 or 7 match card wouldn’t be surprising. MITB was a 6-match card. Same with Wrestlemania Backlash. And Hell in a Cell was 7 matches.

Looks like it'll be a fun show. I don't care who wins the main event to be honest, I'm most happy about Walter's high profile match on the show. He and Sheamus are going to beat the hell out of each other. I see it being like Walter/Ciampa from Takeover Stand and Deliver.

Why is the card so small? You're just used to American ones, over here we have smaller ones since there's less room in general and all the roads in cities were built before... Oh, card. Nevermind.

The fact that Ticketmaster still haven’t got the tickets ready is starting to make me anxious.

The fact that Ticketmaster still haven’t got the tickets ready is starting to make me anxious. Seems like they're shuffling people around to fill the hard cam side up some more (see edit below), so they don't want to finalise the tickets yet, though I saw someone mention they got relocated to behind the stage so who knows what they're playing at. Lots of people quite annoyed that they paid hundreds for tickets and now they've seen seats in the same areas going for half the price, or even less than that. There were some £22.50 seats on the L tier an hour or two ago. Almost bought one, but they're restricted view, probably because they're so low down and there's a whole bunch of people between those seats and the ring, so I decided I was better sticking with my seat up in the gods. Edit: I'm not sure that hard cam theory stacks up, even though it seems like the logical reason to rearrange people, and what a lot of people on Twitter are thinking. But if you look at the areas on the seating map which still have spare seats, they all seem to be on that side, you'd figure the empties would be on the opposite side. So I've no idea, really, but it is getting a little close, and I'd rather know I have my ticket before I travel.

"Battle at the Castle" is it, Mr Fury?
🤔
Edit: Actually a bit surprised if he's actually there as part of the show, he's booked as a guest for Wrestlefest, I didn't think WWE liked external bookings like that. I don't really know how that all works though, and I guess he's not a WWE regular.

And there’s Drew’s reason for losing and their big match for the next UK show

And there’s Drew’s reason for losing and their big match for the next UK show If anything I can see him taking out a heel trying to interfere or something (Theory?) for a big pop. Fury is a massive celebrity in the UK. I don't think they'd portray him as a heel there.

So any buzz for this show in Cardiff and the rest of the UK? Anyone living there can confirm?

Fury is a massive celebrity in the UK. I don't think they'd portray him as a heel there. Pretty much what’s gonna happen. We get a promo from Theory (or another heel) where they talk shit about the UK for heel heat, decides to get in Fury’s face for whatever reason, and gets KO’d for their troubles. Hell, if it’s Theory who gets punched out by Fury, that could work as the reason why he can’t cash in during the main event

It's being shown on BT Sport here as well as the network and when I watched some football on there on Wednesday night they were shilling the show pretty heavily. I haven't watched any WWE since Wrestlemania but I'll probably watch this as a network subscription isn't needed. I just about remember watching SummerSlam 92 as a kid.

So any buzz for this show in Cardiff and the rest of the UK? Anyone living there can confirm? I've seen quite a lot of pictures on Twitter of a painted mural, and tons of banners around Cardiff, and the pop-up store, and even the train station ticket gates have Clash promo stickers custom designed for them. I get the impression there's a bunch of fans there already, it's probably getting a bit hyped about now. Some clubs in the area doing fan socials, there's Wrestlefest, WhatCulture Tussle Near The Turret, there's after-show parties tomorrow, at least one AEW viewing party on Sunday night... It's pretty wrestling-heavy, and it seems like people are there for it.

Would love to see them do a show at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the future. Or even Wembley Stadium.

Just walked past a couple of wrestlers in Cardiff Centre, one of them not advertised for the show….
More scoops than SRS I tell ya.
