Dexter Lumis suddenly becoming the straw that stirs the drink in the RAW upper midcard is something I don’t think anyone would’ve expected literally ever. its so good. do stuff like this and people won't even think about there not being a world title regularly being shown off on one of the shows. this is how you can have part time guys at the top And while they are getting buzz from guys coming just off phone call, that really isn't the draw since It is nice shock value TV to see a new (returning name) but the way he has structured the shows have rewarded you for watching through the whole thing

Really cool to hear Lumis is back. Was bummed when they cut him.

Dude has his character down pretty well and does just fine in the ring too. And he's been doing this same gimmick for 10 years since he was Sam Shaw but he put on 40lbs more muscle and got the character down to the basic essentials Still one of the dumbest things TNA did was take his suave character that debuted and make it a big mamas boy He was just a skinny dude with shitty tattoos and credit to him for morphing the character and making it his own

Y'know, I should have seen this coming when Dex crashed Johnny and Candice's Starrcast panel...if only to sit quietly and read Pro Wrestling Illustrated. That man is so unpredictable!!!
(a.k.a. I'm not surprised in the least to see him back. The way it was presented may have been a bit odd at first but it's honestly so fresh compared to what we've seen out of Raw in the last few years of Vince. Subtle, long term storytelling and even making matches for future television seemed like it was hardly on the table.)

I had stopped watching WWE but after hearing about the Dexter/Indy wedding I HAD to tune in to watch and was NOT disappointed. His character work is off the charts. So happy to see Papa H bringing his guys back into the fold.

If anyone was able to catch Gargano's Starcast panel then Lumis made a cameo in that aswell, for those who havne't it's worth a watch however you may find it.

You have her turn on Ken, join Shaw and have an automatic pairing that could have worked. He also came out to one of her songs when he first started before they switched it

That's the key for me. They're not just saying HERE'S A SURPRISE DEBUT/RETURN~!, they're doing careful work to integrate them into the show. Makes it way easier for new audiences to be invested, too.

We all thought Theory would eventually cash-in as a cowardly heel (and possibly lose) but what if The Way gets back together and he ends up as the goofy face from the end of his NXT run. I can see that getting over on the main roster.
