Trying to create a "European" Brand when travel in a lot of UK and other Euro countries is pretty strict right now seems like a giant moneypit waiting to happen.

So the rumors are true. NXT UK will be no more with NXT Europe coming in 2023. Very interesting. I guess that means that starting in a few weeks, I will have 1 less show to watch. Also, I guess that means I will have a new project to work on with the entire history of NXT UK. As for Worlds Collide, that will be a fun show & I already have a page from the previous events. The only thing I don't like about it is that it will start at 4 PM ET. That is around my family's dinner time. So I might not be able to watch it until later on. When I last saw Twitter at 1 during lunch, only Morgan Webster was released. I get out of work & see most of the NXT UK Roster is gone. It makes sense. Why should they get paid if they are not wrestling? Let them work where they want & bring them back next year for NXT Europe.

If Brooks Jensen can't get laid in Europe's red-light districts then it won't happen anywhere

This sounds like a logistical nightmare. Brexit might make being able to work in both UK and mainland Europe difficult. This is something bands are struggling with. Plus frequent travel issues.
Then there's understanding the different audiences, they can't even get UK right with British wrestlers on the roster and a common language (euros, euros yeah yeah). Then there's laws, customs and political minefields, everything from LGBT rights, age of consent, drug laws, the idiot who starts goose stepping in Germany. Can imagine their legal and PR team dealing with issues across the continent.

Kenny Williams just confirmed he's out too. Damn! he was really coming into his own as a smarmy heel. damn good worker, good mic skills, natural charisma. easily TV ready imo. He has high upside imo too.

I'm going to call it.
With so many UK talents being cut, NXT Europe will not be based in the UK.
Getting work permits for the non-UK talent would be such a pain in the knackers. I'd say it'll most likely be Ireland or Germany, with the potential to do TakeOvers anywhere across the continent. Maybe TakeOver Dublin will finally happen.

Trent Seven is shocking though. An interesting note is that Meiko Satomura is still there, but then again, she's also still the NXT UK Women's Champion, and they'll probably do a double title match at World's Collide. Praying for Meiko to win that match (if it happens) since her being champion helps the women of NXT a hell of a lot more than Mandy does.

I just think the general response to something struggling is not to make it even bigger in scope. Well, the general response to having too niche of a product is to broaden it. It’s a smart strategy and this way they can tour NXT Europe around for tapings into other large markets. They didn’t really have a way to do that before because it was too pigeonholed as NXT UK. In abstract, maybe. But the UK was already the hotspot focal point for the European wrestling scene is general. Most of the major, with-buzz promotions were in that area and being a star in the UK and a star in the European scene as a whole were pretty synonymous. Broadening your scope is good, but if UK fans couldn't sustain it when that country will go nuts for some good wrestling, trying to stretch out your third stringer promotion to tour other countries seems like a lot of logistical hassle and cost tossed on top of something that hasn't proven much. Given Austrian and Russian NXT UK champs, it's still got that same niche with the same scene and same stars, so it's not really broadening out what its niche actually was.

Serves the UK wrestling scene for selling out to Hunter in the first place.
Make sure they don't drown their sorrows in bars and restaurants within a few miles of any secondary schools.
