That Hangman bit was really odd. Wonder if it'll factor into next week's match.
Edit: Updated to make it clear there's more to this going on.

I think if it doesn't go to a tv time limit draw, Hangman will face whoever wins at All Out

Seemed like a potential callback to the Punk/Kingston feud, where Kingston turned out to be absent for Punk's callout for a very good reason. Both of them had Punk demanding an apology, too, so it seems like it's solidifying an implication that Punk is deliberately engineering these moments to make himself look good.

That was really odd. Wonder if it'll factor into next week's match I think Mox wins next week. Due to Hangman distraction. That makes his title reign legit. Then sets up Mox vs Punk vs Hangman at All Out.

Punk's trying to get his ass kicked by the entire locker room right now. God bless him.

I think it's just Punk being Lord King Asshole because he can't help himself.

Seemed pretty deliberate to plant seeds, especially with Hangman's confidence issues, he's not fighting for Trios belts, he doesn't answer Punk's challenge

It was really weird and made me pissed at Punk which I guess is the point but it's a weird U-turn from his heroic comeback last week.

If Kingston was the 3rd best Eddie then who was the second behind Guerrero?

According to rankings, isn't Hangman Page also the number one contender?
Obviously, if Tony Khan is giving away the unification match away free on television next week, he has to have some bigger plans for "All Out," but I don't think Page challenging either Punk or Moxley is a bigger match than them unifying the AEW World Championship, and there's still the variable of does MJF play a role in all this as well.

If Kingston was the 3rd best Eddie then who was the second behind Guerrero? Eddie Edwards? Did he ever even wrestle Punk? I'm trying to think of when that could have happened, and I can't name a time they were in the same place at the same time.

He was the only one I could think of plausibly in the middle of the promo. Looking through Punk’s match history on cagematch and profightdb, he’s worked two other Eddies. Eddie Craven and Eddie Vegas. Since nobody but the most hardcore OVW fans know Craven, I’m guessing he was referring to Vegas?

Throughout their feud Punk said after he won Hangman would have to come and publicly apologize to him. Trying to hold up

If Kingston was the 3rd best Eddie then who was the second behind Guerrero? I assume it’s Umaga. Eddie Fatu.
