8. A bunch of great mixed with train wreck. It was interesting I’ll give it that. The good stuff was really good though. The ME, tag title, trio title, Sting, MJF, that was all great. Jericho/Bryan and FTR/Wardlow was good too and the women’s title match. Very strange ppv and I’m one that can usually appreciate some strangeness.

Almost impossible to rate it without the post show context but I avoided social media all day to watch the show in a vacuum
I thought the crowd reactions to some wrong winners, including some I didn't agree with, were baffling
I slipped the Lethal match, Jungle Boy and House of Black. The latter two to watch later
Even without those matches I felt like this was the best AEW PPV in a year or more

I'll go with an 8, just barely.
Some booking messes (the whole masked men thing, Starks just getting bodied, whatever that Christian/JB ending was) and the main event didn't do much for me, but two borderline MOTY matches in the Trios final and Tag Championship and MJF is back in the fold.

7...
Ladder match that...was just there. Poor ladies get the shaft. Follow the Bucks that do all kinda shit. Crowd died. Let me correct myself: Fans do the trope stuff for the women, then run to the bathroom/food line to not watch them. (No lie.) Follow the crazy Tag title match. (Not a guy yelling 'Scissor me Daddy', but it was really good). I like the Acclaimed. Bowens can be the top guy in 5 years! If Jamie isn't turned by Wednesday this is the slowest of slow burns, and I'm a Shida guy. Christian vs. JB a non-match, followed by a Jericho/DBD match (while solid and a "greatest hits" collaboration) fell flat with a crowd awaiting the main event. (And you still had a six-man with STIIIIIING!) I enjoyed the majority of it.
I liked HOOK! Trios was fine. Jade needs frickin' led through a match at this point. (Shida or Jungle-Jungle, help us please!) I liked Hobbs - P-P-P-POWAHOUSE!!! - over Starks, although if they keep playing Ricky's neck issues...that ain't good. Six-man made Wardlow look good. I'm a MCMG fan, fun to see them! Match was just okay.
Main event great; lost my voice shouting for Mox.
