I think my favourite part is how Punk keeps being all "YEAH WELL IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ME I'M ALWAYS WALKING DOWN THE HALLWAY FOR YOU TO SAY SO" but there's literal video footage of him spotting Colt in a hallway and turning back around faster than Grandpa Simpson.

So, just watched this back this morning as we went to bed right after the show. I have no idea if this is legit or some sort of Russo-esque work. Either way, this is bad wrestling.
If legit, TK looks horrible allowing Punk to twist off like that. He looked like a misanthropic psycho completely unaware of his surroundings and the moment he was in, or worse someone who cares that little.
If working- this is just awful. If they think that this is some weird new kayfabe where they present these "insider" worked shoots just to keep the audience off base, it really isn't a product that I want to watch on TV.
The Thunder Rosa/Toni storm stuff is just as bad, but certainly not on the same level of stupidity as all of this with Punk.
Please make it stop.

Slight tangent but bear with me: It's funny how people are and were so against The Good Brothers coming back if they in fact did to AEW And I get why in ring wise or gimmick wise, though one thing I can say about the GB is it feels like no one backstage has a bad thing to say about them, especially Luke Gallows. Who on record, is one of the few people who can break Jon Moxley and make him laugh. Of course that's not to say AEW should hire them back or anything it's just a retrospective of who fans can loathe but can turn out to be good/decent peeps in the locker room compared to others, seems like Luke and Karl are good in that regard But Sour Boy is the worst! Are we going to have a pwoooooob-weeeeem? |
