I don't see it being a work because how on earth does it logically follow? MJF is the devil coming back to get revenge on the the tattooed baby man screaming over how his old friend got pissed over being dragged into his lawsuit and not having his legal fees taken care of for it? To say nothing of immediately burying what was clearly supposed to be the giant, "Oh shit!" talking point coming out of the show by doing this instead.

Days after Tony has a meeting trying to get people to chill, Punk goes and does this. There'd better be a hammer coming down on Punk now, because if not, that's honestly the single biggest flaw Tony could have exposed yet. A questionable booking decision, sure. Being a dick to Swole? Bad look. But this? This is the sort of shit where if you let it slide, you are sending a very specific message, and it is not a message that a healthy promotion has. It's a message that kind of marks your promotion as not ever going to be healthy because if you don't address it you're basically giving everyone free goddamn reign. Right like if all of this is real, after the meeting y'all just had about keeping shit indoors, there is no way Punk can escape from this. Suspend him, and when you bring him back on TV you put the title on MJF but even then that's kinda f***ed considering his situation and he basically got rewarded for that |

If it's a work like, great, there isn't an actual problem with everyone backstage But also why would you ever make this a work and why would you present it this way? Like from every conceivable angle I can't imagine dusting ym hands off after that and going "Job well done!" |

Either TK pulled a Dixie Carter and put his belt on someone who couldn't give less of a f*** about his company, or he's hired Vince Russo to book for him since he's out of ideas. Either way... please, just get the belt off Punk fast. Then have him job out to everyone, including the Wingmen, until his contract is up |

No f***ing way this is a work. They just put in the cornballest shit on this program to make Punk look like a hero, and they didn't even flirt with MJF coming in to be a good guy as he flipped the crowd off when he showed up. They aren't running Punk vs. Colt Cabana as a grudge match. This is real. This is the real, ugly man who got a chance to let loose and knew he could get away with it, and decided to air every grievance he had even as it wildly spun off tangent and away from the question, all in the name of doing his thing without any care for the consequences.

And how does it enhance your show Like he had a feud with Hangman but I don't think he's even crossed paths with the Bucks. Doesn't make sense to be the company killing asshole when there is no build to it so it fits into the all this is a shoot category or TK is a big f***ing idiot leveraging his company on shoots during legit media scrums |

I mean if you think about it, last time we saw MJF he was having a massive tantrum about the company demanding to get fired. Now we have just had the (arguably) top guy in AEW having a meltdown - so it’s not beyond the realms that they could be working us all and MJF and Punk are in cahoots to basically be the devil on the shoulder of TK whilst the Elite are the angels…. I don’t know if that is genuinely where this is going but it wouldn’t shock me. |
