Guess I’ll be the only one on Punk’s side.
I honestly agreed with a lot of things he said.

I just watched the it, and I have to agree with the sentiment that work or not, it's a bad look for the company and it came off as if Tony Khan has absolutely no control over his talent.
Say what you will about Vince McMahon, but he ruled the WWE with an iron fist and once again, whether it's a work or not... I just don't think coming off as a pushover or lacking control is doing Tony any favors.

I like Punk and people can say he's their biggest star and all that shit (maybe they're right), but they were doing just fine without him. Punk is their most recognizable star, at least. But yeah, they definitely don't need him. Kenny, The Bucks, Hangman, Jericho, Mox and MJF were carrying things just fine before him. Again they Have Daniel Bryan, who had the pretty much universally pervasive yes chants... something Punk never had.

Guess I’ll be the only one on Punk’s side. I honestly agreed with a lot of things he said. He reached a boiling point. I get it. Literally he never spoke on this subject and had everyone else tell the story for nearly a decade. The moment he gives his side, everyone has a meltdown. He didn’t need to bury people as much as he did, but I get how it got where it did.

But Tony absolutely should not. Nothing healthy about this. Nothing.

It's still ongoing on my spot, why didn't you end this early. Man had a meltdown and should have been pulled. Your main guy shit on YOUR guys. The guys that helped start the company. What the f*** hahaha. I'd nuke the scrums from now on. FAN- Boy I wonder how Tony is going to respond to questions about the weird booking toni- CM Punk- I'd murder Nick Jackson's entire family. Punk: Yeah this delicious baked good is tasty and good for the soul. You know what isn't? Our WORTHLESS NO GOOD EVPS AND HANGMAN. Did you know Colt shares a bank account with his mother? Also Izzy you're cool.

You know you've had an insane scrum when Chris Jericho came off the best. Despite his weird voting record, he's known as being a pretty good guy

That sounds like a major exaggeration but I am too exhausted to figure if this is a work or shoot

Days after Tony has a meeting trying to get people to chill, Punk goes and does this. There'd better be a hammer coming down on Punk now, because if not, that's honestly the single biggest flaw Tony could have exposed yet. A questionable booking decision, sure. Being a dick to Swole? Bad look. But this? This is the sort of shit where if you let it slide, you are sending a very specific message, and it is not a message that a healthy promotion has. It's a message that kind of marks your promotion as not ever going to be healthy because if you don't address it you're basically giving everyone free goddamn reign.

As uncomfortable as that was to watch, it’s also pretty awesome just watching Punk cut loose. Even better that it wasn’t some YouTube shoot in 10 years, here’s a guy losing his shit next to his boss at a company event. Insane.

f*** alllllll the way off if this is a work. If it’s a work it SUCKS. It really would be the worst worked shoot of all time. NONE of it makes the TV shows more compelling, at least for me.

That comes off like I think this is a work but can't prove it, to me. Really odd thing to include in a headline tweet. And if it's a work, eugh.

Punk's going to get his ass kicked by someone backstage for real, I can feel it.

You know you've had an insane scrum when Chris Jericho came off the best. I’m not the biggest fan of Jericho but if he had pulled out his “f***, I guess I’ll fight Brock for busting Randy open” energy right in the middle of that, I would’ve been ok with it.
