People who want him to be an un-credible joke they never have to look at and still went "Why are you letting this dude do so much?"

I'll be honest. Kenny isn't really my cup of tea.

But I'd never say that he doesn't put all of himself into his vision of Wrestling, or that he doesn't want to bring as many people along for the ride as he possibly can.

Because of the way I was brought up, I actually empathize with Page a lot on this.

It's not that I don't want to listen to other people, or be inspired by others.

It's that I was very vehemently raised that you have to walk your own path, you can't copy someone else's work, you can't walk someone else's path, you can't follow someone else's example, you can't do things the same way someone else did them.

For a guy who sees himself as an artist whose calling is to perform at the highest level he can, he seems like a rare dude where if you aren't a dick about it he'd respectfully nod at the idea of someone not being into him and accept it gracefully instead of like, punching a wall or smacking your phone out of your hand. You probably wouldn't ruin his day and piss him off by daring to not grovel at his feet and revere him. In a business full of chip-on-their-shoulder whackadoos who take themselves too seriously and let their star power go to their heads, or who even develop insane self-image when they don't even have real star power, that's worth something.

At one point, someone I used to know was on vacation in Japan, and apparently he ran into Kenny in an arcade.

I said "Tell him the Young Bucks suck."

He responded with "He said : 'I know.'"

I laughed my ass off, and then decided that even if he'll never be my favorite, Kenny's alright.
