Kenny was also putting on 15-minute bangers on Dark with Joey Janela and Kip Sabian. And do we even need to open the hornet's nest of how long and how much offense he gave to Alan Angels in that match? The internet almost melted down at that. Omega is genuinely one of the best in the world. He has the attendance figures, merch sales, and match ratings (both in NJPW and AEW) to back that up. Of course, he's going to win matches and be at the top of any promotion he wrestles for. There are people who hate Kenny Omega and want his career to be buried in the Marianas Trench who were smouldering with fury at how much offense he let Alan Angels get in. People who want him to be an un-credible joke they never have to look at and still went "Why are you letting this dude do so much?" Notions like that remind me there are two things I'll never understand: Blind hate and Blind devotion Two extremes that offer no real perspective, and only usually lead to having miserable conversations. |

To be honest I'm feeling sorely tempted to go find some program to do video editing in and then go through this thread to round up the best Photoshops and make a good old-fashioned video of them. Feels like there's too much gold in this thread that's too hard to find.

The “delusional backstage leader” traces back to WWE too Cody and Jericho have talked about Punk setting up awkward meetings where’d it work for some of the talent but not for the others. In particular one where Punk said “as locker room leader I’m telling you to pick up your trash” and Booker T proceeded to throw some trash and say he wasn’t going on to be telling him to clean up trash.
RVD’s clowned on him in this respect in some clips too.
