You knoe what really scares me is the possibility is that the Elite leave but Punk gets to stay. That right there would just piss me off. Zero shot. Not only would this destroy the locker room, it would open up a whole can of worms because the Elite are also employees I just don't see how it works out in the end. It would destroy everyone's faith/confidence in Tony, dropping everyone who helped him build the company in favor of a dude who USED to have the power to hold people in his thrall, but literally just pissed that all away in spectacular fashion. |

I ddon't wanna be like. Defending Road Dogg here or anything. But at least in Road Dogg's case, he said that as a coach in the developmental program Seth was in. The job of Road Dogg was to tell people how to do things and how to refine themselves as talents. He was a dick in how he told the Seth story, but he wasn't inherently overreaching in doing it. With Punk and this alleged locker room stuff, we've got a contracted talent who isn't inherently 'above' anyone else on the card in terms of actual job responsibility. It's good that dudes will make themselves available for questions or to be learned from, but there is literally nothing in their job description that gives them a position of authority or makes people have to listen to them. So for Punk to be singling out dudes for 'not listening to him'? That's actually worse than Road Dogg in my mind. Nobody has to listen to Punk. If somebody didn't ask then he has no right to demand to be asked.

Reminder apparently THIS is the interview that set off CM Punk against Hangman, re: CM Punk & Sting (which CM Punk actually mention on his tirade) Page comes across so humble and good natured in this video that Punk seeing this and seething with rage is comically sad I suspect it's because Punk had given him unsolicited advice (possibly on multiple occasions), and when Punk saw this clip, he concluded that not only was Page not really listening, per his own admission, but that he also wise-cracked about it with his friends, the EVPs. The idea that people are ignoring and/or laughing at him is going to set off a paranoid narcissist big-time. |

Kinda like him only knowing that Bryan Alvarez insisted that Punk went into business for himself. To me, it seems Punk read a headline, did not do any investigation over it, and got hot over it. |

Those are the reactions of someone regretting letting Punk going off the script, this was probably a hard lesson for TK
I do feel confident that Tony will learn from this and not allow this kinda thing to happen again, or at least not to this degree. I also feel confident that the Elite will also learn from this. The only one that I don't see learning anything from this is Punk. |
