There's a real tragedy to the way that Punk can find all the alleged health he does in anything but wrestling, then come back to wrestling and burn out all over again. How much he's really healed elsewhere, who knows. I think he's kind of washed out of the novelty celebrity crossover phase of any endeavor he's tried and doesn't really find much staying power in any of it. Wrestling is what he does. What he's good at. He hasn't rested his hat anywhere else for very long. But he also can't find fulfilment in wrestling. His ego won't let him. It all combines to be this real tragic shitshow of a situation, but it's really looking like there just isn't any way he's going to reconcile this. Complex with the real clue of what Punk's ultimate goal is post wrestling

The Mox/Punk match was one of the best story telling matches in a long time and it's just been completely and utterly forgotten about The MJF reveal was also one of the coolest moments of the whole year, it's also been forgotten about Sadly, all the good stuff CM Punk build out of All Out, he immediately threw away, and he planned on throwing it away, or at least, he planned on that going a lot better in his head...

With Pat Buck being unsuspended, I can only assume there’s a bevy of clickbait tweets and YouTube videos that say “ONE BUCK RETURNING TO DYNAMITE” I mean really Pat is all that AEW can muster tonight because they just ran out of Bucks to give.

No lie, I'd want some Kenny Rogers corn muffins right now. On the other hand, the chicken is so dang expensive for what you get. This is how you KNOW you're Filipino, when you're talking about freaking Kenny Rogers in 2022, lmao. Ain't none of those in the US anymore!

Kenny's also gonna be part of Yakuza/Like A Dragon 8, hence another reason for him being in the SEGA HQ.
For the unaware, Yakuza 6 was CRAWLING with NJPW stars, including Tanahashi, Okada, Naito, etc. as part of their Clan system. I for one welcome our wrestling overlords (and fingers crossed they somehow incorporate Kenny as a playable character rather than just some random Poundmate summon...).

coming back to this to repeat that in simpler terms, i think that punk outside of wrestling is probably fine or bordering on fine but whether its due to the chip on his shoulder, trying too hard and getting lost within himself or the business itself being demanding as f***, professional wrestling brings out the absolute worst in him
not absolving him of any of his wrongs but i think a lot of people have had that job that just brings out the absolute shithead f*** everything side of you
food for thought

Yeah theywere part of the JUSTIS gang and it was Tanahashi, Okada, Naito, Toru Yano, Satoshi Kojima, and Hiroyoshi Tenzan as themselves as gangsters. It was pretty great.
I hope Omega has a similar role. Granted, Like a Dragon 8 is probably going to be in the RPG vein like LAD7, but Omega as either an optional boss fight or sidequest NPC would be amazing.
Also Christopher Daniels and Michael Nakazawa will officially be at TGS on AEW/THQ Nordic's behalf.

IRL cause she apparently lived the gimmick. Also I forgot dude literally called her Satan. This sounds dramatic but I want you to consider how you'd feel if you were getting big timed by f***ing CookieCan’t lie, back around 2005 20 year old HMark would’ve been into being big timed by Becky Bayless. …Why does literally any verb work as a double entendre.

Wasn’t that same dude in the front row of AEW show before looking miserable? I swear I’ve seen him before.

Is this guy supposed to be a parody of horrible wrestling fans or is he wasting as much money as the "Flipping off Cody for betraying AEW while in the Wrestlemania Crowd" guy?
