Punk is a dickhead but he was right about one thing in that scrum. The people who are constantly leaking everything to the dirtsheets are pathetic and only adding to the toxic environment backstage. You can even get an idea of who is leaking to who when you see how different people spin the same story. Meltzer clearly has his clique of guys who speak to him and give him the story in a way that paints them in the best possible light, SRS has his guys who do the same, Wade Keller has a few and somehow even Cornette still has some.

2 years ago nothing got out of the AEW locker room. They kept Brodie's condition a secret, Sting debuted and no one spoiled it beforehand, they had the reputation as the company dealing with COVID the best because despite half the roster catching it they managed to keep most of their outbreaks quiet until the people talked about it months later in interviews. Now though absolutely every little thing gets out and the past few months in particular it's been exhausting with the Punk/Page stuff, the MJF stuff, the Thunder Rosa stuff, the Sammy/Eddie thing and that press conference was just the culmination of it all.

Glad to see at least some people are rolling their eyes at the "I threw that chair to protect my wife" because nah, the way you protect your wife is that before the fight starts, you get your wife out of there. Or, y'know, phyusically put yourself between her and the stuff and don't engage in any fighting. It sounds like Punk didn't leave them the time for that, but that's something he should take up with Punk. He won't, probably, because it feels like calling Punk out is a good way to end up getting shit all over and he's already just giving up everything for Punk.

As someone who adores Future and thinks Kendrick is well rounded but has never gotten choked up over any song he’s made, I’ve got my fair share of Fantano disagreements.

He's got zero understanding of hip-hop as a genre, he calls literally anything that uses fast 808s "trap influenced". But also he's owning the shit out of Drake by just existing so I hate him less now

Based on what we know at least, that excuse falls flat when a guy tries to get a dog out there to protect said dog. Falls flatter when you bite the guy doing that.
