Kevin Nash has updated his thoughts on CM Punk. Language Warning (and there's a lot of it) Hahaha, Nash is so chilled and just does not give a f***, does he? We all know he's Team Elite anyway, because Kenny is his favorite wrestler. Nash is probably one of the people most enjoying dunking on Punk right now. Dude was so holier than thou calling him a locker room cancer and injury prone and now a decade later and Punk is well...

I was going to go to Full Gear front row, but now I'm worried about getting hit by chairs and eaten. Update: I am in fact going to be front row at Rampage and Full Gear. I will resist the urge to bring a "Page 54" sign, though. No word on whether I'll make it through the night without being eaten or hit by a chair.

Y'know, it's kinda funny when you put the dates next to each other for their careers, it's almost a solid 10 year gap between the main beats of their prominent runs:
Nash debuted in WCW in 1990. Punk debuted on the indies in 1999.
Nash won the WWF Title in 1994. Punk won the ROH Title in 2005.
Nash left WWE for TNA in 2004. Punk left WWE for retirement in 2014.
Nash made a surprise return to WWE in 2011. Punk made a surprise return to AEW in 2021.

I was going to make a post paraphrasing Punk about how I'm not longer friends with my friend because he went to AEW last night and didn't tell me... >_> But I'm lazy... Pretend that I did that. You're old, you're tired, and you post with children.

Kevin Nash has updated his thoughts on CM Punk. Language Warning (and there's a lot of it) Is he referring to how Punk's total in-ring career was roughly 15 years long, or is he referring to his 7-year hiatus?

Kevin Nash is like one of the coolest motherf***ers lately. Also helps that he was one of the earliest pro athletes (not just pro wrestlers) to support gay sports people in the locker room during a time where being an ally wasn't really the "cool" thing to be.

Re Nash's rant. For anyone wondering, Nash worked his entire career on two horribly injured legs. f

The muffin and sparkling water thing still bothers me. You dress yourself and say "im a locker room leader" every 2 minutes, and you bring muffins and a bag of sparkling water to a press conference?
Like good lord make, have a modicum of professionalism. Say what you want about Chris Jericho, when dealing with the public, he's a straight pro.

It’s what would have happened if punk joined AEW at the beginning. They really wanted him when they first started and apparently wanted to make him the centerpiece and build the company around him like Jericho and… well like they did this past year. I wonder how that would have turned out considering the harmonious vibe of the first year or two when it was “all friends wrestling” and guys just “making a wrestling company made of wrestlers for wrestlers”. Would he be as toxic as he ended up this year? Would he be chiller working from the ground up? Would he have blown up the company before it got off the ground ? Yes

That, or like they're a reality show about, I dunno, rock polishing on TruTV. The kind where every commercial looks like someone's going to get in a fist fight, be fired or arrested, or that they're going to die, and yet none of these things happen. I think you mean he dropped it to James "BY GAWD" Gibson. Seriously, I remember watching that match rooting so hard for Daniels but Gibson's promo in the build was absolute f***ing fire. Also would say I don't think Punk's reign was a thank you reign. Gibson's certainly felt that way but Punk's was one of the biggest indie storylines of all time. I assume this was meant as a reply to something else.

Punk had just had a brutal match under those lights, and had to do the scrum, dude needs some water to get hydrated.

Loudly and obnoxiously opening cans and carrying it around it a plastic bag like that is weird. Like did he need 6? Can anyone pound 6 carbonated drinks in the span of 10 minutes

Yeah, learning about that went a long way in rehabilitating Nash’s reputation in my eyes
