Be safe, your food conversations are very fun and have been a welcomed addition to this thread! Honestly, doubt there will be too much trouble in my end. Had super typhoons come before, and yes super typhoons is a term when it really gets bad... but honestly terrain wise at most I'll expect power outages and maybe just a bit of water going in through the doors, far better than coastal regions here. Hell, just got a package from a relative close by with food I just need to heat. Burgers, hotdogs, the baked spaghetti I love, big slice of chocolate cake and scones. Won't need to cook tonight, just heat on the pan. Though, personally I don't like the spaghetti being heated. Hotdogs on it, banana ketchup, and a layer of cheese on top of it all. Far better cool for me. Another New Year dish I look forward to all year. Eat it fresh as the New Year starts, then get given the leftovers on the day. Delicious. And really, thing I do here and there, I really kinda want to be at the roof of my house (flat roof, essentially a third floor) during the heaviest of the storm and let the wind and rain go down on me. Cold, strong, and noisy as hell. Done it here and there since high school. Just... oddly calming and safe for me. That sounds freaking amazing. I love being out in rainstorms, I don't have a roof to lay on, but I like just walking around in them. Be safe! |

You know what’s cool to do in the rain? Swimming. Especially if you have goggles or something on (or are willing to open your eyes underwater) and you can go under the surface and see the raindrops hitting from underneath.

Hell, Hangman basically played the exact same role for Punk that Punk did against The Rock, and if The Rock thinks any ill of CM Punk he's sure as shit never said as much. Really speaks to a difference of character atop the hypocrisy of him doing what he hated Rock for. I’m pretty sure you could get Punk to rant for an hour by just saying “Wrestlemania 29”. I’m also pretty sure Punk hasn’t even crossed The Rock’s mind in years. |

I think Punk probably has the guys he wanted to work, and he knows shit about them. But Hangman is very clearly someone he worked because Hangman had the title. Not out of any interest in him, not out of any care for his work, but because he knew he'd be going over and getting that top guy spot. A guy he saw nothing in, and so he's free target practice now when the insults start flying and he gets mad. A guy who was in tight with Colt, in tight with the Bucks. Hangman showed up and Punk had every 'reason' to dislike him, and even though Hangman put him over in a match that was frankly really embarrassing on Punk's part, that's 'not enough' for Punk. He went over, Hangman hasn't really sniffed the main event since or even done much of any real value, but we've got to run him down because he made one comment in a promo five months ago that Punk still doesn't like. The seas f***ing parted to give this man the spotlight and his response to the people who stepped aside for him is real telling. Remember when Batista came back, got rejected, but rolled with it and turned that into a heel character who was infinitely more compelling than the face he'd come in as? Especially as it appears the next stage of his story with the Elite has been put on ice. |

The classic breakfast sandwich is the bacon, egg, and cheese on a plain bagel. Or pork roll, egg, and cheese on a kaiser roll. And don't call it Taylor Ham because that will get you shot in the streets. Bacon or sausage & Eggs on a Toasted Croissant with a bit of butter. |

So far, a few brief power outages, but nothing too bad. Just a bit of extra wind. Helps that the area I'm in is somewhat elevated so flooding is unlikely.
And that burger I got from a relative, despite reheating it on a microwave hits so good. Bun is a large pandesal. Flame grilled burger from the taste of it, meaty and lots of it. Mushrooms and melted cheese, still gooey even with a microwave. Good mayo under the burger. No veggies. Plain but every ingredient works its job well. And it's a big burger, so I'm still loaded hours later.

Pure speculation on my part, but there's so much documented hypocrisy and "doth protest too much" in his statements and actions, he thinks he's playing 4D Candy Land. Also just such an ego trip to imagine a dude being like "Yeah these people respected the wishes of a dying man and his family but they can't quiet when I'm being a miserable prick to them and also cutting promos to make other guys look bad". Honestly, I think that it might be from Tony himself. He's clearly not the best manager but I can see him thinking that leaking information that (in his mind) would put pressure on talent to do what he wants like Punk growing up re:Colt and Malaki not leaving. It's a tremendously dumb idea but fits with Tony's management style. |

Leaking shit out, blaming the Bucks knowing the Cornette crowd and the parts of the wrestling fandom who despise the Bucks would eat it up (in spite of SRS, Meltzer, etc. emphatically denying they were sources), thinking he had Tony Khan wrapped around his finger. It all comes off like a power play that went up in smoke and blueberry muffins. |
