I knew I loved you for a reason Going to both nights in Boston in October  Absolute favorite band. Are they playing The Middle East? Oh man I wish they still played venues that small. They're playing roadrunner this time, new venue. I hear it's a better house of blues (which I'm hoping for because last 3 times I've seen them was HOB and didn't have the best experience) |

I think that Punk seriously thought that he was about to take over the company from those guys. lol The irony being, if he had not been waiting for AEW to make its presence known to get onboard, he probably could have, if not been given an EVP position or something, he still could have probably ingrained himself like Jericho, where he has TK's ear and even has connections to the network. Granted, Jericho would still be in a more favorable position to do that for a few reasons, but Punk;s lack of foresight cost him. I say this while also thinking, "Where the hell would Punk have even fit in the early days?" |

I'm beginning to think if anyone leaked anything, it's Punk himself. Pure speculation on my part, but there's so much documented hypocrisy and "doth protest too much" in his statements and actions, he thinks he's playing 4D Candy Land.Rick from Blind Wave: "Candy Land f***ing sucks. Why the hell would Punk want to play it? This just means the Elite have better taste in games than Punk, so I'm with the Elite." Honestly I just wonder what the best case scenario for Punk even was with this. Did he think he'd turn public opinion against the Elite? Did he think he'd bait them into doing something to lose power? Did he think Tony would go, "Hey, he's right!" and get rid of them and Colt Cabana? I just don't know what his premeditated muffin tantrum was actually supposed to accomplish. I mean Everything I do is right and correct and everyone will agree with me, is a trait of narcissism.
